  This feels very much like a hotel from the right decade. It's very modern, lots of design thoughts, rooms are small (container-sized, not a coincidence) but they feel a lot bigger than they are due to the very good design. Rooms have music, mood lightning, lightning, blinds controlled by a remote.   The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. It was so lovely and comfortable that we did not really want to leave the hotel for the concert / meeting friends that was the reason for the visit.   First of all, I would like to say that I definitely would stay at the Glasgow Grand Central Hotel when I return to this wonderful city…especially since I travel by train. How convenient…the hotel is attached to the station. The history of this property is wonderful to read. Yes, presidents, princesses and the elite of the world…slept here. I would to thank Laura - This was our first visit to Scotland and we could not have had a more phenomenal start. The front desk staff were wonderful and welcoming. Ross and AJ who staffed the concierge desk while we were there were outstanding. We neglected to complete a VIP card for these two gentlemen and should have. We were a little frazzled as we got lost entering Glasgow and Ross was helpful, provided directions to parking, looked after our bags and assisted with ideas for how best to see Glasgow. AJ directed

Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay. Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.   very close to the city centre,close to theatre and concert venues,also reception got us tickets face value for concert,also left phone charger but was sent to us with no fuss excellent service - This overnight stay was a gift for Anniversary for relatives.
