Newcastle upon Tyne Hotels

i stayed here for 3 nights October with a friend, hotel was easily found just 3 minutes walk from station within a business quater. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and always willing to help!Rooms were spacious and very clean, bathroom was good size and the beds were great!we were locate don the 7th floor so had good views, this was a quitet floor where i can imagine the others been very noisy at night! my partner and i enjoyed an excellent stay at this hotel. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and informative about our hotel, its ammeneties. the room was immaculate. The decor of the hotel itself is of a very modern style and very well designed. The service by all staff was second to none. the hotel is located in the centre of all attractions that newcastle has to offer , with excellent bars and restraunts nearbye. the food at the attatched lounge bar was of a very high standard, as was - Christine

Office booked me to this Hotel and without checking here first so I was more than a little worried about what exactly they'd got me into! Turned out to be one of the best trips I've had in a long time. I assume the refurb complete as the whole place seemed really nice (photos on here and even their own web site don't do it justice). If previous reviews to be believed they must have refurb'd the staff to as all I met were relaxed, friendly, polite and helpful (even though I live it London!!). - Stephen

Myself and spouse had an overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast at Novotel Newcastle Airport during September, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment! Our room was of the highest standard in both the decor and cleanliness, our evening meal on the night of our arrival was most appetising, the service was faultless as the staff were most attentive and very pleasant, same for the breakfast a good selection. this hotel was a great find very friendly staff, great resteraunt for dinner with friendly staff too. very accomadating for familys and nothing was too much trouble beds were clean and en-suite was clean would recommend it and also would go back ourselves again. - Kevin

Stayed here on Sunday night in August 2009 , whilst flat hunting in the area for our daughter ,upon arrival at reception we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist guy who promptly dealt with us and took us up to our room. The room was bright, clean and had all the amenities that we required, the rooms have all been upgraded and I believe the bathrooms will be soon, but our bathroom was still clean and fresh towels etc although it does need updating. I have to say that from the moment that my husband, 2 daughters and I arrived at the hotel the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were very impressed with our first impressions of the hotel it was open, spacious and had a welcoming feel to it. But we were let down with a bang when we entered the bedroom. We had booked what we called a family room (double and 2 singles or double x 2) but we got a double and a not very comfortable bed settee. When I went to complain about this, - Peter

We stayed at these apartments for 12 days in August and another 2 days in September. The apartments are modern, close to the city centre, and a short walk to Central Station for train links to the rest of the UK. They feature everything you could want, kitchen, living and dining room, laundry facilties and on site parking though this has to be paid for as extra. They are located opposite a pub which depending on which side your apartment is on can be a little noisy. Outdoor dining means - Claire
