Glasgow Hotels

Me, my sister and my pal went to stay in Glasgow last October to watch Bryan Adams in concert and we stayed at the Mark Hotel. We walked out of Glasgow Queen Street station and we saw the hotel at the top of the hill. Walked in and it looks beautiful and we proceeded to our room and when we walked in it was breath-taking. So modern and confortable and conveniently located in the centre of Glasgow, idea for shopping. A must stay. I will be going back in Nov 09 when I go to another concert. - Karen

We've been to Glasgow before, but this was our first stay at Jurys Inn and we'll definitely use it again. We stayed at the Express over a Saturday night and we were more than satisfied with the room,the service and the location...don't know what other reviewers thought they where going to get at a budget city centre hotel?...but you get what you pay for....and this hotel IS value for money.I must also point out the excellent courtesy and service from the two gentlemen on reception upon checkout (13/09/09) they were helpful and a little unusual for receptionists...they are genuinely interested in the - David

Located slightly outside of the city centre but in a nice spot near BBC Scotland. Taxi only £4 each way and rank right outside, no problems in the morning. Traffic problems if there is an event on at the neighbouring arena! They respect Platinum upgrades, very friendly and chatty, real attention to service which was a refreshing change. Nice "scenic" lift. However, rooms are a little dated and my (club room) sounded like there was water gushing around it...even though aircon was swi - Aaron

Stayed over for one night in the hotel - had read the comments from some others and was a bit worried - all I can say is they are talking rubbish - the reception was very helpful and very clean our room was lovely and clean and bright - no problem with the bathroom - if anything the heating was too warm - lovely fresh linen and towels - plenty tea/coffee making facilities in the room - the breakfast room and staff lovely - breakfast was brilliant too - for the money we paid absolutely excellent - Dennis

I would highly recommed the Park Inn Glasgow for business use. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with good views of the city. Food is very good too, particurlarly the steaks which are of the highest quality. Breakfast offered a good selection and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. - Paul

Visited the hotel in August with friends. Hotel location is excellent for shopping on Buchanan Street- a couple of minutes walk away. Also about 5 minutes walk to the merchant city area for pubs, restuarants and clubs. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendy. The receptionist gave us great advice on where to eat and drink. The bedrooms were compact but well equipt, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was of a good quality and served till 12 on a sunday. - Dorota

Just returned from a 2 night stay checking in was a breeze room very comfortable and clean with all the usual amenities ie robes mini bar etc had a meal in the collage restaurant which was very good I found all the staff very friendly and efficent I will be returning and highly recommend the hotel - George
