Hotels near Glasgow Airport

Stayed in the Holiday Inn Express one night before my fiance was flying to South Africa. Booked a standard room, which was adequite for a one night stay. On finding the air con/heating was not working called reception & a member of staff came to check it. After confirming it was broken we were then offered a room on the next floor. Glad we took it as it was far superior to the one we had originally been in. Had room service & food was excellent. Room service staff very friendly & eff - Darren

At £29 per night a real bargain, staff friendly, rooms clean, food standard Premier Inn fare but portions small. - Karen

Some people will complain about anything, but I have stayed here several times and have always found the staff including the bus driver cheery and helpful, and the rooms spotless. If I am staying on my own I like to eat in my room - they will put your meal on a tray for you or if they're not too busy they'll take your order then someone will bring it to your door! Food is not cordon bleu but the portions are good and it's nicely presented - and this is airport stopover territory, not restaurant - Carole

Used this hotel for an overnight stay with 2 weeks secure parking and courtesy bus to the airport. Couldn't, fault the service or the amenities of the hotel. My car was thouroughly checked and the friendly car park attendant even offered to park my car for me. Was advised to keep my sat nav out of sight or even deposit it at the hotel which I done.This must be the best value for secure parking as other park and fly around Glasgow airport charge around )30.00 without bed and breakfas - Peter

We were invited to the Glynhill for a suprise 75th birthday for an aunt, it was held during one of the theme nights that the hotel put on - this one was an Abba tribute night. Our stay was short and sweet, we only arrived at 7pm and had to leave by 9am. On arrival the reception staff were great, obviously a very busy day/night not only were there many people arriving for the Abba night but there was also a wedding party around. Ashtree House is a hidden gem (boutique style small hotel) in a small oasis in the conservation area of Paisley situated in a secluded tree lined courtyard off the main thoroughfare - you wouldn't know it was there. We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of October and were very impressed with Ashtree House. The hosts Maureen & Tom were warm and welcoming and our room was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable - the early morning sun through the bedroom windows gave a great - Nigel

I stay here every 6 months for Heart Transplant Clinic. Which is next to the hotel as in a joining the hospital which used to be a very posh Private hospital for arabs having private Heart Operations. The Beardsmore is a very nice hotel but is 20.00 in a taxi to glasgow and has nothing around it for example nice places to eat or drink other than the hotel. On the good side it has a very nice pool and Gym, the staff are great and the rooms are very big and comfortable. It has a cafe and Dearer r - Michael

Having previously attended a wedding at The Erskine Bridge Hotel, and stayed in the hotel - I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hotel was. The service was amazing, the staff excellent, and a fantastic hotel experience. This led us to book our wedding here too on 4th September 2009, and it was amazing. All the staff were brilliant. The service, including events co-ordinators, reception, bar/restaurant, could not be faulted. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable. I would highly - Barry

After reading some of the reports on this hotel I was a little wary. I should not have bothered. My wife and I took up the offer of the £90 DDD each and set off. The Hotel Looked stunning on arrival and did not disappoint. It was stunning inside and out. The rooms were what you would have expected of a 5 star hotel. We were met by the hotel staff who could not do enough for us and made us feel a bit special. They even went out their way to book us in for afternoon tea even though it should have - Alan
