Having stayed in the hotel several times I thought it was time I wrote a review and to be honest I find it hard to fault the Marriott. Having children I have always found it very child friendly and the staff have never made you feel that your kids are not wellcome. The family rooms are a good size and the kids get a nice bed rather that a fold up bed or bed settee. The rooms have always been very clean. The pool is lovely and warm and not too deep. We stayed for 2 nights at a cost of £76 per - Kevin


After seeing the reviews on this website we didnt know what to expect. The pool was warm and clean and the room was aquipped with 2 double beds so the children got a proper bed.The staff were friendly and very polite and helpful.The breakfast was something else with a wide selection ranging from croissants to a full cooked beakfast. So overall an absolutlty brilliant stay and would recommend to anyone!!! - Neil


Stayed here mid-Sept shared a 'double double' (i.e. two double beds) with a girl friend as we were just away for a shopping/ chill out mini-break. Friendly welcome on arrival by both concierge and reception staff - held our luggage as we arrived early (prior to check-in time so room wasnt ready), but checked us in anyway. Upon our return from shopping headed for the room - it was everything I'd expect for 4* nice bathroom not the most 'trendy' but adequate, beds extremely comfortable - ha - Andrew

From Glasgow Airport (12.9 km):
- Join the M8 Eastbound (signposted Glasgow).
- Exit at junction 19, following signs for City Centre.
- On Bothwell Street stay in the left-hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights onto Pitt Street (there is a sign for Marriott).
- At the traffic lights turn left onto St Vincent Street.
- Then, turn left at the traffic lights onto Newton Street, again stay in the left-hand lane and follow down to the traffic lights.
- Turn left at the traffic lights and the Marriott Hotel is on your left-hand side.

Alternatively you can take a bus to the city centre or taxi directly to the hotel.

From Edinburgh Airport (64.4 km):
- Follow signs for Glasgow.
- At Newbridge roundabout take the first exit and join M9.
- Take the junction to join the M8, signposted Glasgow.
