Glasgow Family Friendly Rooms Hotels

We did a last minute trip to Glasgow and decided to book this apartment as opposed to a hotel room. It was £90 per day and worth every penny. The apartment was immaculate with everything being of the highest quality. The full kitchen was filled with top quality goods and there was every item you would ever need! The furniture is very modern (not our taste) but nevertheless felt "homely". We were comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door. Located right in the city centr - Helen

We flew to Scotland from the US in July 2005. The Glasgow SAS was our first hotel and we could not have made a better choice. This is definately the hotel-of-choice for Glasgow. The room was very quiet and extremely clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable (we woke up at 11 am- I haven't slept that many hours in years!!!) The hotel staff was exceptional. I wish I had written down the name of the bellman so I could specifically thank him. He was unbelievably helpful and kind. Everyone we came in - Michael

Entrance is tucked away in the middle of a side street. Check-in staff is very helpful. Staff seemed to be looking for a way to be helpful if an inquiry is made! Did not take advantage of the breakfast. Aldi and Marks and Spencers is just down the street. Excellent recommendations were made in regards to getting around to Hampden Park and what to expect. Parking next door in car park offered at a discount. - Michael

The location of this hotel is excellent, with many local attractions in walking distance. The hotel is well run, clean and the staff very helpful. - David

We can't say enough about this wonderful little hotel. The location was PERFECT. It's on very quiet little street, but yet right in the heart of the West End. The rooms were immaculate, too. We are neat freaks...and this room was CLEAN! The staff was so friendly and accomodating! When my wife's hair iron wouldn't work...the receptionist gave up her own for my wife to use!!! Now THAT is going above and beyond! You can't go wrong with the Albion Hotel. Best of all, it's a really great value. - Judith

Having stayed at the Spire Suites in Birmingham, I was expecting much of the same and was NOT disappointed. The Suites are spacious, clean and comfortable. I always find that to pay an extra £10-£20 over and above the cost of a standard 3* hotel room, bearing in mind all the extra space you get, is well worth the money .... My only criticism of the property is that finding it from street level is very difficult but apparently this is due to the fact that some of the units are residential ( - Caroline

Location was perfect, very quiet at night, but close to all shops and restaurants, and walking distance from Hampden approx 2 miles - Fiona

This hotel is excellent value in a great location! My room was clean and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a good breakfast. What more do you need? My room had obviously just been decorated and I noticed another room being painted while I was there. After looking on-line for a good deal I paid £40 for a twin room on a Saturday night and that couldn't be beaten by any other hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend it and plan to stay again. There is limited - Chris

Me and 7 other friends had a weekend away and after reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried about having already booked into here. I should not have however ! The rooms were clean and tidy and bathroom was spotless. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and had a really good variety of stuff even my vegetarian friend had no complaints and found things she liked. There was fresh HOT coffee which was a novelty as some places I have stayed have served lukewarm. The 24 hour reception was a go - Ling
