Glasgow 4* star Hotels

Me, my sister and my pal went to stay in Glasgow last October to watch Bryan Adams in concert and we stayed at the Mark Hotel. We walked out of Glasgow Queen Street station and we saw the hotel at the top of the hill. Walked in and it looks beautiful and we proceeded to our room and when we walked in it was breath-taking. So modern and confortable and conveniently located in the centre of Glasgow, idea for shopping. A must stay. I will be going back in Nov 09 when I go to another concert. - Karen

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for five nights earlier this month. We chose The Menzies partly due to its apparent close location to the city centre, but also due to the obvious attention Lenny Hughes, the General Manager, pays to feedback provided by other customers via TA. Any hotel that takes time for this sort of thing has to be given a chance ! We were not disappointed. I would highly recommed the Park Inn Glasgow for business use. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with good views of the city. Food is very good too, particurlarly the steaks which are of the highest quality. Breakfast offered a good selection and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. - Paul

Stayed here for one night during a trip to the secc. Perfect location if attending an event there, just 2 minutes walk from entrance. Rooms were clean and very modern. Reception staff very friendly! - Ian

really enjoyed my stay, albeit it's a B&B Hotel there's plenty of eating places around the area I had the best breakfast served in a hotel for a long time. Everything is cooked to order. Will certainly stay here again. Also a really clever idea are the straighteners in the bedrooms. - Sheila

Located slightly outside of the city centre but in a nice spot near BBC Scotland. Taxi only £4 each way and rank right outside, no problems in the morning. Traffic problems if there is an event on at the neighbouring arena! They respect Platinum upgrades, very friendly and chatty, real attention to service which was a refreshing change. Nice "scenic" lift. However, rooms are a little dated and my (club room) sounded like there was water gushing around it...even though aircon was swi - Aaron

My elderley friend had never been to Scotland, as we were travelling by rail, she was quite willing to come if we could break the journey halfway, so we did at both outward and return at Manchester, Glasgow was selected as base in Scotland, a visit to both Edinburgh and the Highlands was a must, we were very very impressed with Glasgow, one could not have stayed better anywhere in the Uk, (best place to stay in England is Nottingham) We booked 2 double rooms at the Millenium, one could not find - Jacqueline

Having stayed in the hotel several times I thought it was time I wrote a review and to be honest I find it hard to fault the Marriott. Having children I have always found it very child friendly and the staff have never made you feel that your kids are not wellcome. The family rooms are a good size and the kids get a nice bed rather that a fold up bed or bed settee. The rooms have always been very clean. The pool is lovely and warm and not too deep. We stayed for 2 nights at a cost of £76 per - Kevin

Location was perfect, very quiet at night, but close to all shops and restaurants, and walking distance from Hampden approx 2 miles - Fiona

I have just stayed at the sherbrooke castle and had to write a review - i don't normally, however this has to be the loveliest and most friendly hotel I have ever had the pleasure stay in, from the minute we walked in the front desk was so helpful and efficient with all of our queries - which were many!!. Our room was stunning and we were amazed by the size of it, we also had beautiful views over the grounds which were gorgeous( whoever disagreed with this must have been at a different hotel!! - - John
