    Nice breakfast, good service and a pretty Victorian townhouse. Very near underground station Kelvinbridge on a quiet street. Situated near Kelvingrove Art Gallery, which is easily reached on foot through Kelvingrove park, a lovely 10 minute stroll. Supermarket is also nearby. Facilities in the room were fine (hair dryer, water boiler, coffee &... what people say » ; tea). Bathroom was next door. - My room was spacious and pretty. The bed was comfortable but I helped myself to a second duvet a) because I'm old and chilly. b)because it was very cold weather c) because I didn't know how to turn on the radiator! (Pathetic) d) I really appreciated having two comfortable armchairs for when my granddaughter came to spend a morning with me.

    What I liked most was the hotel owners' hospitality. I really felt at home during my stay. The eggs, bacon and potato scones cooked by Cathy were superb. Cathy and Angus were always available to give directions. I also liked the retro atyle of my big room.     Very warm welcome when we arrived and this friendly manor continues for whole weekend. Nice room, clean and fresh. Good cooked breakfast...not greasy or cold:-).     I booked this hotel as I was arriving late by train into Glasgow and getting a very early train the next day, so wanted something inexpensive in a central location. I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and helpful the member of staff on reception was, he give me advice about getting a late meal/take away from nearby Sauchiehall Street, and a... what people say » rranged an early breakfast for me at 6 am the next day ( which he served to me himself!) and even printed me a walking map to the station. Excellent - All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Atmosphere very welcoming. Hot water available all the time, fresh towels daily and room cleaned thoroughly. Super breakfast. Internet access, couldn't have asked for more, really enjoyed our stay.

    We spent only one night in this hotel but I would definetely recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow. We had a small room with shared bathroom. Both room and the bathroom were very clean. For this price it was a good deal. We parked the car just outside the hotel and bought a 2 pound parking ticket from receptionist for the whole afternoon untill ... what people say » 12 P.m next day. - We were interested in art galleries and museums and so the location was excellent. It was also close to an underground station and the Botanical Gardens. Our room was very spacious and clean. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

    Excellent location if attending the secc which we were. 7 minutes walking distance. Plenty of surrounding places to eat out. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. We were on the top floor with three flight of stairs and no lift. But we were given an option of a lower floor room. Free parking. Excellent service.Good for an overnight stay. And will keep booking here as its a great hotel to stay in for the prices to its great.

    As soon as we drew up at the front door we knew we had chosen wisely. The warm welcome from Gordon, the location - close to the university made the Georgian House a perfect place to stay. The accommodation was roomy with a very comfortable bed and lashings of hot water. We had a most comfortable nights sleep and woke refreshed and ready for our br... what people say » eakfast. The continental breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful airy dinning room. I would recommend this hotel to everyone but particularl - What amazing and excellent value for money. Received a lovely warm and friendly welcome. Great west end location. The bed linen was freshly laundered (smelled lovely!) and we both had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed - best sleep for ages. Good powerful shower with plenty hot water.
