  The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could have eaten something at the hotel. Maybe ordered takeaway if nothing else! The staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful (especially Russell who appeared to be on duty throughout our stay!) The room... what people say » was very clean. We could not hear the wedding which we had been assured of. Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in - The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

  This hotel was amazing, they did all they could to make our stay brilliant and all for a really good price... i will definatley be going back there - Very friendly staff....amazing room (both very clean and very large!) Brilliant facilities. Very pretty location and easy to find.

  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious. I have travelled widely in the UK and if every BandB I stayed in was a good as this I would be a very h... what people say » appy woman.
