Torquay Pet Friendly Hotels

Stayed with Kate and Ed last week. Had a fab front room that you could lay in bed and see the coast and the next town with lights on after dark. We arrived late and Kate made us a delicious homecooked meal which we needed after a six hour drive.We had other evening meals as well all superb and beautifully cooked. All staff were friendly and hard working and nothing was too much trouble.Ed introduced my husband to a bottle of local wine which he has raved about ever since !! Breakfast filled us u - Geoff

Torquay is a long town and Babbacombe an area to the east of the centre. Good links, however, make access to the whole area an easy process. Babbacombe Guest House is no architectural beauty but once inside that ceases to be of importance as the welcome is very friendly and the whole establishment spotless. I guess our room was much as the others, not large but in very good order and with a clever use of space. Despite the busy road we found it quiet both from external and internal disturbance. - Alan

Found The Parks on the internet and booked a last minute week's holiday. From the moment i spoke to Tim & Sarah to confirm availability i knew it was going to be good! Nothing but praise from our family for how well Tim & Sarah run their guest house. Lovely quiet location, yet only 10 minute's level walk to sea front and marina. Excellent full english breakfast started the day off perfectly. Kids loved the heated swimming pool. We look forward to our next stay at The Parks! Best Wis - Stephen

We spent three nights here. Everything was super and the hosts couldn't be nicer. The room was very clean and the shower was great! The hotel is in a great location and can walk to everything. We really recommend staying at this hotel. Can't beat it for the price! - Alex

The hotel frontage is beautiful - lots of wonderful colours provided by all the flowers and plants and upon entering the hotel it feels very homely and welcoming. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and provided lots of information about the local area. I stayed here with my husband and two children (ages 7 and 3) and had a lovely family room on the ground floor. A lovely choice of breakfast was provided and this was followed by an ample stroll down to the seafront. D - Catriona

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights (Aug). It's a lovely Bed and Breakfast. The location is ideal for town and is only a short stroll. We stayed in Room 4, which is at the front of the hotel and faced the gardens. A lovely bright room although it could get quite hot when the sun is shining, but is not a problem if your out and about as we were. I would recommend this lovely b&b the breakfasts are also delicious. - Gareth

this is the best b&b i have stayed in i am constantly travilling around the country so stayed in a few superb breikie very very clean and the people were very nice people very helpful going in back in march time for work and even considiring familey holiday if i do it will be here thanks - Peter

Proprietors Jackie and Bob greeted us personally and made us feel most welcome. Room was very clean and pleasant and bathroom was fine. Breakfast was of a good standard and plentiful. Overall the hotel has a homely feel about it with pleasant lounge bar and dining room, and nice garden area. It is situated in a quiet road off Sheddon Hill just up from the sea front. This is our third visit in 2 years and will definitely be returning again. Superb value for money and with personal attention - Fiona

The hotel on arrival is a lovely victorian tall white building with ample parking. Roy (the owner) greeted us & showed us to our room and had perfectly laid out the surprise I had planned with him over e-mail for my husband when we entered our room, chilled champagne, glasses, a red rose and my anniversary card ...Nice One Roy!;) The rooms/walkways were all beautifully & tastefully decorated and the cleanliness was superb. We loved the bedding and fluffy white towels + the power shower - Christopher
