    Very friendly and helpful staff Hotel cosy and comfortable Value for money Very clean and nice room People complained about food taking long to be served. We dont think it was that long. The kitchen cater to several venues - lounge, bar and main dining room, so naturally will be bit stretched. But we thought the members of staff have done stirling... what people say » job with making sure we are okay and looked after - Value for money accommodation with excellent decor, comfortable bedroom, newly refurnished and sparkling clean bathroom WITH quilted loo paper, good toiletries and soft fluffy towel. Fab breakfast included in the price too. Also a great place to dine in the evenings, staff were great.

    The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room was newly decorated and extremely comfortable - so much so I purchased two duvets from the Head Housekeeper who could not have been more obliging. The pool area was attractive and had all the facilities you could want except something to wring your wet swimming costume out. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any - The first sight of the hotel was delightful with a vast array of pretty flowers and lavender everywhere . Wonderful pillows comfy bed with quilt , excellent tea/coffee facilities, bathroom lovely with all necessary toiletries provided. The choice of breakfast was excellent. We used the pool and surrounding patio area and found the whole experience very relaxing after a days shopping in Cardiff.

    What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had arranged to eat at the Hardwick (a birthday treat for me - going to Stephen Terrys restaurant), the hotel arranged a taxi for us, with no fuss.     "Pava" is situated on the outskirts of Tintern and has lovely views and easy walks from the doorstep. Tintern Abbey is a great place to visit, is quiet and peaceful. There are excellent walk in the area that cater for every grade of walker. The tree lined road from Ross on Wye to Tintern and beyond, out of season is a wonderful ride and in autumn... what people say » will look spectacular. Across the road from Parva there is a vineyard. Although a bit pricey the quality is great and a visit is recommended. (Access - Our room (no.2) on the top floor had a lovely river and hillside view. Bed linen, room and en-suite were all spotlessly clean. The room was very well appointed including plenty of wardrobe space. Although we did not use it the honesty bar in the large residents lounge is a nice touch and looked well stocked. A good choice of homemade food for an evening meal was available, but due to a late lunch we did not have the opportunity to indulge. Opposite there is also a nice pub if you fancy a drink

    A lovely cosy place to stay with a very homely warm feel to it with personal touches to the place here and there , very friendly staff soft comfy beds ,excellent breakfast !! the evening grill or italian is amazing ,i decided to try the 16oz rump steak which came exactly as i d asked it to be cooked with a more than generous portion of salad chips... what people say » mushrooms onion rings peas etc etc couldn t finish it all !! the outside of the hotel is very well maintained and has a beautiful front garden with - From the moment we arrived you made to feel at "home" Very friendly atmosphere. The service by the staff and owners made you feel "nothing was too much trouble" You are spoilt for choice for the selection of food from the menu's. The whole package is good value for money. You are made to feel special by owners and staff members. Such a relaxing atmosphere one nights stay make you feel you have been there a week.     The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. The huge beds are also fantastic and hugely comfortable. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recover... what people say » y, we will look to stay many more times. - rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful.     Pretty much everything! The people were friendly and very welcoming. We arrived at 23:30hrs with 2 bicycles and they gave us the key to a secure room where we could keep them. The room was very comfortable and spacious, big shower, very clean and newly refurbished probably (?), plus the full English breakfast was indeed a FULL English breakfast... what people say » . Full marks all round! - Top hotel comfort at a budget price. Small hotel spread over adjacent houses, but this was not a problem. Extreamly clean, very comfortable, everything worked. Best hotel shower I've ever had; fast flow, water hot from start. Full English breakfast excellent. One night with breakfast for £34.99...you can't go wrong!

    As a stop-over for our family of 3 adults, young child and small elderly dog, we found Hilton Newport to be: very welcoming and professional; displaying a high standard of service, both at room level and in dining areas; accommodating ones wishes wherever reasonable and providing high levels of accommodation. We had advantage of a very good rate and consider our stay to have provided excellent value f - The price of my stay and the fact that I was a mother staying with my 21 yr old son. The twin room I stayed in was perfect for that situation. The chefs on that night ( 8/10) were brilliant and I am wheat free and dairy free they adapted the menu for me last minute and I felt spoilt. They were very busy that night but still took the time to make me my very own tomato sauce. Massive plus.

    For the price what was on offer was excellent, amazing value. The room, whilst basic in design and decor, was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was superb. The staff were fantastic, very polite and courteous. I stay in hotels 44 weeks a year all over the country from budget to luxury and I was treated so well here I won't hesitate to return and recommend this hotel. The staff could not do enough for me despite booking .com not informing them I had even booked!
