The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. The huge beds are also fantastic and hugely comfortable. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recovery, we will look to stay many more times. rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful. Quiet, good large parking area, convenient next door restaurant. Family room was superb. Staff very friendly.Very comfortable. Good food. Friendly staff, very clean room and a comfy bed. Very clean and comfortable, easy to find location, modern rooms.....This was my second stay there within a week, and I enjoyed my first one so much that I had no hesitation in rebooking it with you during a return trip. Brilliant idea to introduce free wireless internet as stay is due to business.Good restaurant altho` due to its popularity service was sometimes a little slow - although I was warned in advance. Friendly staff, easy access to rooms from carpark. Functional and suitable for our purpose. Restaurant and Bar good value.It was good for what we paid for it. easy to get to from motorway. Reception was friendly and helpful. Parking easy. Quiet even though on main road and next to pub. Reasonable room. Not at all. I found everything to be exactly as described and the staff are excellent. Had to be on track at the velodrome at 8-00 on Sunday morning and had I known breakfast was not available I would have made other arrangements for something to eat. Not good to race on an empty stomach!!. Thought the dining area looked a bit tired and could do with decorating. Food not available in evening at the hotel's pub/restaurant, as detailed and promised and as an expected facility, resulting in having to travel to find an alternative restaurant/eatery.Doors with no dampers that kept banging during the night. very noisey in the corridor in the mornings and doors banging. A bit out of the way from waht we thought. room was much too hot. pub next door very crowded and poor quality food. Noise of fire door closing (at base of upstairs). Our room was directly across from this. The room smelt of bleach. Lack of service for room,. Very noisy stay, especially with a noisy firedoor in the centre of the corridor which is in use all the time, even till 2 in the morning and cleaners starting work at 7 am who are talking loudly in the corridors and lots of noise in the corridor keeps u awake.I had booked 2 rooms, the hotel only reserved 1. This caused challenges to our group. The hotel didn't apologize or try and make amends in any way.
