wow had a amazing weekend blackpool was great,fantastic paintball next to south pier and you must try out the bike hire machines'what a great idea'. if i can't get into the danescourt the next time i come to blackpool i won't be coming at all,thanks lynn and andy you made our stay,they bent over backwards to please.they even had a toothbrush for my kids which i forgot. the breakfast was second to none, this hotel was recommend by a close friend they said it was great,i say it was amazing.great - Michael

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night. The room was very clean with a nice en-suite bathroom with a decent sized shower. The breakfast was very good and even better than the one we got in the Hilton in Dublin the following morning. We spoke to the owner on numerous occasions and he was always helpful and giving us tips on bars to go to and other places to visit. Just got back this morning after spending five days and it has been lovely, The rooms are spotless, food excellent and the staff are lovely. entertainment wise you can't fault it. We really enjoyed Buddy Lee and all the comedians especially Nicky Newson with his good northern humour. He had me in hysterics! Work sent me to Blackpool recently for a few days. I have never been there before. I have heard plenty of stories of the Blackpool B&Bs over the years so I was a little concerned when the SATNAV took so close to the "Golden Mile". My room was not particularly large but was more than sufficient. The shower was fine and the bed was very comfortable. From the moment we arrived Derek and Rhiannon were so welcoming. The room were good - family room with seperate sleeping area for kids was great. Beds very comfortable and everything very clean. Shower not powerful but hey, the reast made up for it. Really recommend this hotel to everyone. - Caroline

A highly enjoyable stay was had at this fresh and clean hotel. The owners and their daughter were friendly and they really looked after us. The rooms are light and well cared for, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable - best couple of night's sleep i've had in ages! And finally... during our stay at the shepperton ,we found geoff and sue to be very helpful and friendly ,the whole atmosphere in the hotel made us feel at home ,the food was great with large portions,the room was very clean and bright,beds very comfortable and excellent service ,always with a smile .next time we are in blackpool we will definitely be staying there again .ps geoff has a large capacity for jokes , so look forward to hearing some more next time.clifford and pauline cookstown, n.ireland - David

While our room was a bit small the hosts more than made up for this by being so nice and helpful. Matthew parked our car for us (as Americans we struggled with some of the parking) and took luggage to our room. They allowed us to keep our picnic supplies in their refrigerator for the next day. Matthew allowed us use of one of the family laptops in our room for the evening. It was on a safe street and walking distance to the sea and all the attractions. We stayed for 1 night nearly October with friends and both of us had 1 child. Our room has a double bed, shower room with loo, sinks and an adjoining room with bunk beds. plenty of storage space. Very clean and nice fresh fluffy towels. South shore, so not too close to the pleasure beach, nor the tower and away from the noisier pubs if you take kids. easy to walk.tram to the tower and through the lights. We stayed in the Charlton hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary, we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome by the hotel proprietors Kim and Mark. The room was very clean and comfortable overlooking the promenade. They also provide very good free entertainment. The excellent home cooked meals were of a very high standard and served by very friendly staff, and a good selection of drinks from their well stocked bar. When we decided to have a weekend break in Blackpool, we looked to find somewhere neer to the activity since we had heard so much about the place. We found the perfect place, situated approximatey centre of prom with easy access to everywhere including town centre. My wife and I are getting on a bit now and sometimes have difficulty with stairs etc, so I contacted the hotel prior to going and our needs were met and the room allocated as near to ground level as possible, this made a big differe - Georgina
