Food & DrinkDining at the Viking is an experience in itself. Our beautiful sea view restaurant opens daily for breakfast and dinner. Start the day with a full English breakfast accompanied by fruit juices, cereals and all the toast you need. Each evening our chef Andy, who has 20 years service with Choice Hotels, prepares a delightful 3 course table d'hôte dinner with plenty of choice at each course. For all day long snacks and beverages in pleasant surroundings, simply head for the Café Bar. Important information to guestsFull payment is required upon arrival by credit/debit card or cash.

The hotel does not accommodate stag and hen parties. Information about the areaThe Viking hotel is situated in the heart of Blackpool's busy South Promenade. It is a short stroll from the many shops and markets of Waterloo Road, where you can pick up a bargain or do some early Christmas shopping.
South Pier and Sandcastle Waterworld are almost opposite, while the Pleasure beach is a 15 minute stroll away.
Regular trams and buses run along the promenade taking you to attractions further afield such as St Annes and Fleetwood. For your convenience you can purchase your travel ticket from the hotel's reception. - Follow the M55 towards Blackpool; at the end you will come to a roundabout.
- Drive straight across onto Yeadon Way and continue across the 1st mini roundabout and past the Yeadon Way pub (on your left).
- At the 2nd mini roundabout turn right and at the 3rd mini roundabout bear left, continuing to the junction and turn left onto Waterloo Road.
- Heading down Waterloo Road, go straight across the traffic lights and continue until you reach the 2nd set of lights.
- At these lights turn left onto the promenade.
