The new managers had just taken over and had many issues to deal with. They made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs well. The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. -

there was some road noise but I suspect they are in a conservation area so double glazing is not possible

Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, the room was very comfortable, the staff were polite and friendly,the food was tasty and well presented, the bar restaraunt and gardens were very popular with guests & non guests.Also the information available for local sights and activities etc was as impressive as the setting/views.

and cordial. The room I was staying was a single room. Though a bit
too small, but was enough for a single person to stay. Was clean and

The guest house is run by a friendly couple and their daughter who go out of their way to look after you . they are really nice people . its a guest house not a posh hotel ,but our room was very nice , quiet,clean & comfortable with a kettle ,tea coffee ect. Breakfast is tasty and plentyful .with a good choice.

Room was spotless, bed comfortable, quiet area apart from train noise last thing at night. Short walk from train station and also city centre - The room was immaculate and the staff were very helful and friendly.
