    Lovely warm welcome, which continued throughout our stay of two nights. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. The breakfasts were delicious and nothing too much trouble for our wonderful hosts. The riverside walk into town was beautiful but if that is a problem the house is on a bus route so shouldn't be an issue t... what people say » o put people off. First class B&B. Lovely genuine and friendly hosts. We can honestly say the breakfast was the best we have ever had in any B&B or hotel.Very very clean and comfortable rooms, hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended !!!!! Easy 5 stars *****

    We loved everything abou tthe Blue Bell Hotel - the receptionist was lovely and very helpful - the lovely blonde lady who worked at breakfast time was smashing - the bar staff were lovely and overall our stay was brilliant. The rooms were fine - clean and comfortable - the situation was perfect for our travelling around and sightseeing. Many thanks - we'll be back!! - The bedrooms were simple but well decorated and had everything one needed for a good nights rest. There was also a small flat screen TV as well as Tea and Coffee making facilities and a lift. Hotel bedrooms on three floors. Purposely built hotel bedroom block and large car park. Staff could not have been more helpful. There was also a bar and a restaurant with a carvery on the Sunday, but it finishes at 18:00 hours.

    The apartment was absolutely spotless, everything you could think of was there, fluffy white towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/sugar & bottle of milk in fridge. Both rooms were spacious with a lovely double in the attic space with en suite bathroom. Kitchen was very modern with plenty of room. The living room had 2 big sofas, massive flat screen... what people say » tv & a lovely Big rug. The location was brilliant for Harrogate town centre - 5 minutes away on foot. We will definitely be going back. - Although we booked a studio apartment we were surprised that there was a fair amount of space in the apartment itself. Plenty of crockery etc., and some tea bags, water and soft drinks which were a bonus. Ideal if you don't like the idea of having huge breakfasts at a B & B or hotel. We would definitely book these apartments again. Very central to the Town.

    Loved the fact that we were a two minute walk from the shops and near restaurants for the evening. Excellent value for money and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Much nicer than your run of the mill holiday inn or travel lodge where they are all the same! Also liked that you had a bar connected so we could have a drink late evening. Girl on reception was really friendly & efficient. Did not dine there but has a few drinks in the fat badger bar which we enjoyed. The price of the room was excellent @ £59 for a double. Would deffo stay again

    Lovely welcome from owners, they left fresh bread, milk etc for our arrival which was excellent touch, apartment spacious and modern and in brilliant location to York no more than 10 mins walk. It has lots of character. We stayed in the Attic, it was beautiful. Really comfortable. Brilliant being in the middle of York, parked in Marygate carpark and didn't go back until we left. Staff lovely, left the phone charger in the room when we left, Manager posted it back to me next day, no problem. Breakfast delightful. Would definitely go back.

    We stayed as a family with 2 young children, in the therwell suite. Gorgeous room, had a connecting room for the children. Loved the attention to detail, teddies in the room & books and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the reviews helped me pick the black horse , and it lived up to my expectations. Would love to stay again ! - We received a fantastic greeting and, throughout our visit, excellent personal service from all the staff that we encountered. The standard of the evening meal, food and service, was very high to the point that we would definitely see this hotel as a 'destination' for a future visit. The breakfast hamper delivered to the room was a novel but very good touch.

    The staff were all friendly and helpul and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as was the value for money. The leisure facilities were great too - we used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room on arrival after a 5 hour journey and it was a great way to unwind. - the bar and restaurant are excellent. the leisure club is superb. the rooms... what people say » and staff are wonderful and we are able to bring our little dog along with us too which is very convenient!

    Beautiful building in a good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, almost felt like staying with family who look after you particularly well. - Superb hotel,staff and location, off road parking, excellent food, don't bother shopping about you wont find much better for the price.
