We received a fantastic greeting and, throughout our visit, excellent personal service from all the staff that we encountered.
The standard of the evening meal, food and service, was very high to the point that we would definitely see this hotel as a 'destination' for a future visit. The breakfast hamper delivered to the room was a novel but very good touch.

Maggie greeted us with a lovely welcome and after showing us our room made us a big pot of tea with home made biscuits which was served in the sitting room. Breakfast was excellent - a real farmhouse breakfast and relaxed. It was lovely to sit with the other guests round a big farmhouse table. Unfortunately we were in a rush as we were off to a christening but we would have loved to have lingered longer. If you are up for a real treat, then stay at Hazel Manor. Janet and Paul know how to truly spoil their guests and will make sure they take care of every single detail.
Both rooms are beautifully appointed and offer everything you could ask for. I especially loved the super soft towels and Bathrobes and the lovely view from the bay window (Room1).

Jane was really welcoming and helpful with local info including walks and very nicely dryed our wet walking stuff. We had the ground floor room which was large, had big bed and great shower. Excellent 5 star accommodation with a warm friendly welcome from Jane and Simon. Breakfasts were delicious. The room had everything we could possibly need and was of a very high standard. Good walk recommendations (and maps) from Simon and advice of where to eat were much appreciated. This is the best b&b we have ever stayed at and is in a beautiful area with lots to do.
