Nice breakfast room and service. Bathrooms modern and clean. If you want to stay out of central downtown, are driving a car and take buses and tours, this works very well. Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland. The tea/coffee making equipment was for a single guest but Irene happily provided extra for my son - a student in Edinburgh who left me back - The hotel is easy to drive to and parking was no problem.
