The location was great, just a stones throw from shops, theatre/bars/restaurants, Princes Street and other attractions. The staff very helpful (especially the doorman-William), the rooms were very well equiped, clean and tidy and escaped out onto a rooftop expance that gave great views out over Edinburgh. We were given a rooftop garden room which affords great views over Calton Hill and towards the sea. The beds are very luxurious. The hotel is near all the main shopping and attractions. The honesty bar is great and reflects well on the hotel. Breakfast was right out of the top drawer. 1st class break.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Location, Price, customer serviceand general atmosphere was more than I could have hoped for. We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.

Hotel staff were lovely, always smiling and on the day of our departure offered to keep our luggage to one side so we could go and enjoy Edinburgh without having to drag our luggage around and collect it later! The hotel had a unique and modern design, extremely friendly and helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. We visted the adjoining restaurant 'STEAK' and although it was quite expensive the food and service was worth every penny. We stayed in the room Loch Rannoch which featured a comfy king sized bed, a large flat screen TV with Sky, modern bathroom with huge walk in shower and despite other reviews plently of hot water!

We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Really cool place to stay-right in the town centre. Less than 10mins from train/bus station. Staff was very nice. We've got giant family room with 4post bed, with TV, hair drier, shower and bath. All spotless clean, fresh towels every morning. Breakfast room and food was very good, service quick. Everything was like on the website-no bad surprises.... what people say » Will come again! - It was very central and easy to get to from Waverley Station (about 5-10min walk). Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Was good value- room was warm and comfortable. Bathroom was v nice and had a bath which I was really pleased about as most value hotels just have shower cubicles.
