The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - anywhere. Lovely room - great hospitality tray including your own fresh coffee. Bathroom was great - plug/combined tap was a bit hard to fathom at first but modern bathroom appliances are a steep learning curve for some and easy for others. Loved the room and sea view, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom gave the choice of shower or bath. It was scrupulously clean and well looked after.

From the very first moment the staff were excellent, parked our car for us, took our luggage to our room, very friendly but professional at the same time. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the decor very elegant, I think it is more for the older generation , I am in my late 50's and my husband early 60's but we were the youngest there !!

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast in Sidbury just 3 miles from
Sidmouth and the seashore in Engand. That came in handy to get away from
the revelry of the folk festival we were attending. While not a view of
the shore, one still gets a nice view of the village and surrounding
countryside. A bus gets you to the town in no time. The staff is Roz

Beautifully decorated and everything one would expect from an historic cottage in the English countryside. The owner did everything to make me feel at home and the breakfasts were plentiful, offered a wide choice and were well-cooked and presented. The bedroom was spacious and very tastefully furnished in a traditional yet understated way which perfectly suited the historic nature of the house. Of particular note were the many hand-made dolls' houses displayed lovingly in the communal areas of

A minor hiccup. - The staff were extremely good and nothing was too much trouble for them - due to staff shortages they were all multi-tasking but the good service was not lost. We particularly liked the head waiter/operations manager who always had a lovely smile and curteous manner for young and old alike. We loved our room that had a double aspect with far reaching views - totally delightful.
