  The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - anywhere. Lovely room - great hospitality tray including your own fresh coffee. Bathroom was great - plug/combined tap was a bit hard to fathom at first but modern bathroom appliances are a steep learning curve for some and easy for others. The room and property were a bit of peace and quiet away from the seafront noise of Sidmouth itself - and yet only a bus ride or - We stayed in the heather suite which was very comfortable, nicely decorated and relaxing. Nice jacuzzi bath. We had evening meal ( additional cost) that was outstanding, the food and surroundings.

  The catering for the function we attended at the Hotel was really excellent. - Although we were only staying overnight the comfort, cleanliness and ambience of the hotel was great. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in a beautiful dining room - we would hope to come again.

  We had booked another hotel for the night, a 2 star country hotel with very good reviews and in a peaceful location to find while in Devon on the day of our stay the original hotel had double-booked so letsbookhotel.com found us The 4 star Belmont as a replacement. The Belmont is spotless and the staff are excellent, can not do enough to be of service. - I came for a break-away from a stressful life. It was perfect for comfort, always interesting view from the warmth of the big lounges, and the easy access to the enchanting Town. And the numerous staff were so very discreet with their cheerful friendliness.

  What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. The room was very clean, with a very fresh seaside feel to it. It had lovely views over the front of the property, down over the fields, and you could just se... what people say » e the sea. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order. We found the service to be excellent, very friendly and helpful. We only had chance to eat in their restaurant once, but the food was of a good standard. The open fire in the bar is so lovely!
