    Everything about The Kite Inn made it a home away from home and a fabulous place for our stay in Oxford. It was huge, with 2 comfy beds, an armoire, a large table with a monitor for telly as well as room for our stuff, other amenities, and plenty of - This is no ordinary B & B but a century old pub situated in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from the city centre, with friendly helpful staff and excellent food at a good price. I stayed two nights and had intended going into the city for the evenings but ate and drank in the pub instead, great food and cask ales I really enjoyed it - even the locals were friendly! I was there for research at a University college a mile or two away and it was raining so the

    I upgraded to a four poster room for a minimum additional charge. The room was warm, comfortable and scrupulously clean. Staff (owner and family) very friendly and helpful. I arrived before the closure of the restaraunt so had an excellent chinese meal. The breakfast was also well prepared and there was a choice. He took our 4 month old and turned his mood around (he was getting bored and grumpy..) so he was happy and entertained during our evening meal – meaning we were actually able to eat our dinner.. The locals in the pub were very friendly also. Lovely food, clean rooms, and charming decor. Highly recommended all round!

    The staff were friendly and welcoming and really went out of their way to help with advice on local activities and visits. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and I have to say that the food was excellent, especially the peppered pork with fondant potatoes which was superb! We stayed in adjoining rooms on the ground floor which slept 5 of... what people say » us comfortably. The rooms were clean and bright with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely return! - I liked the quite location in the countryside which made it relaxing, but its still only 15-20 mins away from Burford and Witney if you want to look around the shops etc. The staff were friendly and the food and accommodation were good.

    We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in the bar made us feel at home. They reserved a great table for us and helped me wind up our 9 year old son. Even went as far as making his meal look like a smiley face and then when he put his fave next to it they put ketchup on him instead of the plate of food. The beer garden and the grounds are lovely and we found a whole lo - We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Fox Inn. We found the staff delightful and very helpful. The food was excellent and home made. We would not hesitate to recommend the inn to our family and friends and will certainly pay a return visit in the future.

    From the booking in to the checking out the staff are superb and the whole establishment is run with an eye to perfect detail. The rooms are modern and very high spec with all the facilities you may require. The restaurant is fabulous for an evening meal and the breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in any hotel. The produce was local... what people say » and the flavour and freshness of the food was outstanding. We will certainly stay again when we visit the Cotswolds. Fantastic value for money. - Very good location in terms of access to Oxford centre and country walks. The accommodation is excellent, the room and ensuite was exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is evident that the hotel is well maintained and a great deal of time/effort has been taken to ensure that it is of the highest standard. The food whas extraordinary good and The Bells have a great Chef. The staff are very, very, very friendly and made every effort to make our short stay an enjoyable one.
