    Lovely room, very comfortable bed and great ensuite facilities. Nice kitchenette in the room also. Breakfast basket of muffins, cereal, breakfast bars, tea/coffee etc topped up daily.     The hotel was very comfortable. I had asked for a room with a view over the countryside and was given one. We were originally given a room with an ajoining door which was noisy as we could hear the next rooms tv. I asked reception if we could move. They read my original request for a countryside view and upgraded us for free in order to do this so ... what people say » we had a four poster bed in a lovely room! - Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was large, well appointed and extremely clean. I had asked for an upstairs room overlooking countryside - my request was complied with and we had a lovely view. Food was outstanding for a hotel. Breakfast plentiful, varied and extra items ordered (ie veggie sausages and smoked haddock) arrived swiftly. Dinner also excellent. - The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and we found all the staff to be smiling and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and well decorated. Both food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The breakfast menu catered for all tastes; the food was plentiful and self service ensured we had exactly what we wanted. The dinner menu was also excellent.

    Scots lady at bar who acted as receptionist and showed me to my room was very friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and the batthroom more than adequate. Braekfast was different as the hotel was being used by contract workers who - the judge by their conversation - were gutting or refurbishing a local building.     They were very helpful. After I was there for three hours I discovered the toilet did not work. They moved me to another room immediately. Two days later the ceiling caved in during the night because of the water from the air conditioner.     We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB.     Amazing place to stay. Very friendly and prompt staff. I travelled from Singapore and requested an early chek-in during my boong on letsbookhotel.com. The hotel allowed me an early check-in!     A very warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, ideal location with the added advantage of being directed to their sister hotel to park closer to Oxford City Centre.
