    We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB.     The hotel was very comfortable. I had asked for a room with a view over the countryside and was given one. We were originally given a room with an ajoining door which was noisy as we could hear the next rooms tv. I asked reception if we could move. They read my original request for a countryside view and upgraded us for free in order to do this so ... what people say » we had a four poster bed in a lovely room! - Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was large, well appointed and extremely clean. I had asked for an upstairs room overlooking countryside - my request was complied with and we had a lovely view. Food was outstanding for a hotel. Breakfast plentiful, varied and extra items ordered (ie veggie sausages and smoked haddock) arrived swiftly. Dinner also excellent. - The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and we found all the staff to be smiling and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and well decorated. Both food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The breakfast menu catered for all tastes; the food was plentiful and self service ensured we had exactly what we wanted. The dinner menu was also excellent.

    I booked the hotel mainly because of its proximity to the venue for a college reunion dinner. A spacious free carpark in the centre of Oxford was an added bonus. Quod, the bistro attached to the hotel serves good food, as evidenced by its obvious popularity. Ne - The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. It's the little touches that make it so special! we will be back every anniversary!

    A quality B&B in a lovely spot surrounded by the wide open landscape and big sky of south Oxfordshire. Selina was very good to us and made us feel most welcome. The room was of a very high standard of decoration and tasteful with it too. The bed was big and comfy.     Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and very convenient to bus station and centre of town. Breakfast was fine as was showering facilities if you don't mind sharing a bathroom with others.     This was a good, value-for-money, small, city hotel. The owner had designed both the bedrooms and public areas imaginatively, maximising the limited space. A pleasant ambiance. Although breakfast is not provided, George Street has an array of cafes and restaurants serving breakfast by 6am. - I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.

    The staff were very welcoming. The room was really comfortable and clean. The hotel was ideally situated for exploring Oxford. - Excellent quality and comfort of room plus best ginger biscuits I have tasted. Pleasant walk into Oxford.
