    Excellent hotel - rooms lovely - we booked a ine night stay as my husband had a business appt in the area which meant I could also play golf. We booked a golf break as included golf and dinner - well worth it. Spa good. Dinner very nice and great idea with wine - if you cant decide which wine you want they offer a selection of 3 red and 3 white to... what people say » try at 125ml each for £11 - really good idea. Golf course very nice - staff very helpful and friendly - unfortunately weather not kind but still had - The location was lovely with a great view. Room great. Breakfast fantastic. Spa very relaxing and friendly. The management in the Hotel did do all they could to sort out our issues once we highlighted them. They did allow us to stay in the spa for the rest of the day of checkout and seemed to have tried to make sure the staff on reception told clients about the early close of the spa we just got the wrong member of staff that didn't know! The spa was our main feature of why we chose Bryn meadow

    Oh my goodness what did'nt i like! The staff were out of this world amazing! I really can not believe the great service we got, it was the best service ive ever had, better then the atlantis in dudai and thats saying something. I honestly did'nt want to leave we felt so welcomed, nithing was a problem, they catered to are every need & were so ... what people say » happy too, i cant stress enough how amazing there staff were, its restored my faith in the world again knowing theres still people out there like this - The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. Majority of the staff polite and friendly but night staff I found a touch rude constantly frowning at us if we made a slight bit of noise as we came in--- which was to be expected after coming from a wedding. Great location for Caerphilly castle!! Cheap taxi to and from hotel

    Could not fault anything, room was very new & spotlessly clean & a good size. There was a TV, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate & biscuits in the room. The staff very friendly & in the morning there was a very good cooked breakfast. All in all excellent value for the money.     Had a good weekend away.. very comfortable surroundings and Joy and John and Jack were very welcoming and accomodating. Already returning in December with a group of friends. - Welcome by the owners on arrival. The atmosphere of the cottage and surroundings. Furnishings and absolute cleanliness. Good choice of menu right next door!!.

    My Husband and I stayed for two weeks in August 2013 which we enjoyed very much. Excellent location for us. Good size room, clean and quiet. Microwave oven in room, free wi-fi, free parking. Excellent full breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome. A very homely atmosphere with great company.     Gina, the receptionist on duty Friday evening, 5 April 2013, was phenominal. She should be highly commended for her excellent representation of the Premier Inn. My daughter lost her handbag, and Gina spent hours attempting to locate someone within the train systems that could locate it. For that alone, I would return to the Premier Inn and highly recommend it to other travelers. Whatever G - We have stayed at this Premier Inn before and are pleased that it has maintained it's standards. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A good nights sleep, the beds are so comfortable! The Brewer Fayre Pub next door provided excellent food for meals and breakfast. We would definitely come again and recommend you to our friends.Thank you.

    everything was excellent. when we checked in it was really busy,the rugby match with england and wales was on so lots of people there for that, a wedding party of guests and i think there were people for a conference. the lady on the desk was really busy but she was so efficient and friendly. we told her we were going to Bargoed to a family do, sh... what people say » e told us were it was and said that if we got lost to ring her and she would guide us in.we were so immpressed, she went way beyond her duties, she is - Exceptionally clean and comfortable bedroom and en-suite; better than I have experienced in some 4 star hotels.     This is an excellent B&B! Our room opened onto a patio with table and chairs, looking straight out to fields and countryside. The room beautifully decorated, light, modern and bright, and was like a mini-apartment with a small kitchen including sink, hob, microwave, fridge, and plenty of plates and cutlery to allow for takeaways.     The hotel room was really comfortable and quiet, liked the fact there was a bottle of water besides the usual tea/ coffee making facilities. - Great value for money! Staff we're extremely pleasant and the breakfast was fantastic!

    Karen, Simon and the Staff were outstandingly friendly and professional. My wife is gluten free and we hadn't told them in advance because we were not sure if we would be having breakfast. We decided to and they actually went out and bought a loaf of gluten free bread so that she could have toast with her breakfast! Couldn't have asked for anything more.Thank you al - We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very helpful and efficient staff. Lovely cosy bar. Comfortable rooms. They even arranged to bring in a hair dryer on the morning for my wife and daughter. Decent beer and a good, well priced wine list. The food was excellent and generous. Should we visit Abergavenny again, we will stay at the Farmers Arms without a doubt.

    The Kings Head is a fantastic hotel. The staff are very welcoming and a pleasure to be around. The facilities on site were perfect for the business trip.     Everything was so great! We loved Ian and Anika. They did so many special things to make our time in Wales very special.
