    Fantastic view from bedroom . Friendly welcome and service , large comfortable dining room with lovely view . Ate dinner there both nights , very good standard of food and very friendly , but efficient service in the restaurant . Breakfast was very good also .     The hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good in both Morgans and Zest. Complimentary tea and coffee were both good.     Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

    the room was fantastic, the bathroom was top to bottom in marble, pure luxury and that was a basic double - friendly atmosphere. Room was fantastic and had a great time as it was sort of our honeymoon.

The kitchen cater to several venues - lounge, bar and main dining room, so naturally will be bit stretched. The "Inn" won hands down. I shall not mention which hotel in Cardiff but yourselves know as we booked it through - There was a mix with the booking. We booked a twin room, but when I phoned the day before to check our book I was told that a twin wasn't available and it would be a double, which was more than a little inconvenient. However, the hotel rang back to see they would be able to put a Z bed up for my teenage son. They agreed a free bottle of wine and there were also a complimentary round of drinks at the bar.     The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room was newly decorated and extremely comfortable - so much so I purchased two duvets from the Head Housekeeper who could not have been more obliging. The pool area was attractive and had all the facilities you could want except something to wring your wet swimming costume out. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any - The first sight of the hotel was delightful with a vast array of pretty flowers and lavender everywhere . Wonderful pillows comfy bed with quilt , excellent tea/coffee facilities, bathroom lovely with all necessary toiletries provided. The choice of breakfast was excellent. We used the pool and surrounding patio area and found the whole experience very relaxing after a days shopping in Cardiff.

    What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.     The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. The huge beds are also fantastic and hugely comfortable. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recover... what people say » y, we will look to stay many more times. - rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful.     As a stop-over for our family of 3 adults, young child and small elderly dog, we found Hilton Newport to be: very welcoming and professional; displaying a high standard of service, both at room level and in dining areas; accommodating ones wishes wherever reasonable and providing high levels of accommodation. We had advantage of a very good rate and consider our stay to have provided excellent value f - The price of my stay and the fact that I was a mother staying with my 21 yr old son. The twin room I stayed in was perfect for that situation. The chefs on that night ( 8/10) were brilliant and I am wheat free and dairy free they adapted the menu for me last minute and I felt spoilt. They were very busy that night but still took the time to make me my very own tomato sauce. Massive plus.

    For the price what was on offer was excellent, amazing value. The room, whilst basic in design and decor, was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was superb. The staff were fantastic, very polite and courteous. I stay in hotels 44 weeks a year all over the country from budget to luxury and I was treated so well here I won't hesitate to return and recommend this hotel. The staff could not do enough for me despite booking .com not informing them I had even booked!
