    Everything! I thoroughly enjoyed my six-night stay. My room was spotless, the guest house both friendly and quiet, and breakfast delicious--I especially liked the cherry tomatoes, cheese, croissants, and fruit. Julian, the proprietor, and Marlena, who helped him, were gracious hosts. They gave me a grand tour of the new B&B, down on the wat... what people say » er front, which just opened on July 1st. All thanks for a wonderful visit. It was perfect for the reason I went to Aberystwyth--to do research at the - Good room. Great breakfast. Excellent service. I was very late coming in from Falmouth, Cornwall. At 7.30 pm, 30 minutes before the latest check-in time of 8.00 pm I was still in Bristol, more than 3 hours drive from Aberystwyth. I phoned the house and informed that I would arrive 11.00 pm and Marlena, the housekeeper said no problem, she could wait for me. I arrived 10.50 pm, and Marlena opened the door after just one press of the door bell.

    The room suited our needs and had a kettle and tv. The restaurant downstairs provides a very good and affordable menu, and the food was good too. We also ordered the breakfast which was good value.     Staff very helpful and friendly. Accomodation was fresh, comfortable and clean with an awesome sea view (room 3) and 'seaside shabby chic' in style. Our friend's room did not hav ea view but was still gorgeous. Recently the interior has all been upgraded and it shows. The bar and restaurant were excellent, great atmosphere. Finally the breakfast ... what people say » was spot on and they will accomodate requests. - The welcome could not have been better, the suite was perfect, comforable clean with everything we needed and more. The meal that we had in the evening was delicious., as was the breakfast. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to our friends.

    Loved absolutely everything about the Guesthouse. Debbie the owner was so kind and helpful, a genuine host who knew how to go the extra mile to make her guests experience unique, as only the Welsh could. Loved the homemade stonecakes look out for them at breakfast.     Excellent location. A very relaxed atmosphere and most helpful staff at all times. The dining room staff were friendly and a good breakfast was served quickly and efficiently. Bar staff are very pleasant and we enjoyed the' happy hours 'making it an excellent venue for a 60th birthday celebration.     Brilliant customer service. My partner Christine mentioned to reception the water was not hot when she had a shower. The lady on reception said she would investigate if there was a problem with the hot water system. Breakfast was first class, well prepared and plenty of it.     We had a lovely spacious room with great sea views, nice full size bath and shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable from the many different places we have stayed. Breakfast was cooked to order, staff and management very friendly and helpful - We took our two young children away for the Easter weekend we have a wonderful stay at this hotel... what people say » .The staff were great very friendly&helpful.Would stay there again&highly recommend :)

    The friendly staff and ideally located for visiting both The Gower and Pembrokshire coast. It was a bonus to find the Millenium Coast Park created at Lllanelli. - Small, quiet Hotel with a pub next door. The hotel is in as new condition, with large well furnished rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    I loved the apparent remoteness of North Down Farm, as it is a fair way toward the end of Wales but so close to 'civilisation' that you are not lacking for anything (you can see the night-time streetlamps of Pembroke from the front bedroom window).     we stayed in this hotel for 1 night, and stayed in a luxury king room (room 3) Both the bedroom and bathroom were designed and decorated really well, and had everything we needed. There was a double shower and heated towel rail which was a lovely touch. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely - Everything perfect. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, the bathroom was superb. The location is very good, close to the beach and also to the centre. There is a car park in the same street, in case you can not find a free parking (it was difficult during our stay in august).     Wonderful welcome, excellent food, Phil and Jen were very friendly, helpful and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. We had an amazing holiday and the B & B was an experience not to be missed. Cleanliness was exceptional, beds luxurious and comfortable, fantastic views, wonderfully quiet. We were greeted on arrival with tea, scones... what people say » and cake. Could'nt find any fault whatsoever. Breakfasts were a feast. And of course the donkeys were a delight. Thoroughly recommend Tyllwyd Hir to - We went to Wales for my bithday and stayed for 4 nights at the Tyllwyd Hir. Everything was just perfect. Phil and Jen are incredible hosts and are extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are finished to a very high standard with lovely touches like fresh fruit, organic tea, bath robes & slippers - I could go on forever. We stayed in the red room with stunning views over the hills. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with local produce and lots of choice. Best B&B I ever stayed in
