    We had a wonderful time in The Stables - a characterful stone cottage with original beams and other features and set in the most idyllic location. However there was also every mod con you would need and it was furnished and decorated to a very high degree. Sitting on the decking looking at the pigs, goats, ponies happily grazing, chickens wanderin... what people say » g round nonchalantly and listening to the birds singing was so relaxing and was just what was needed after a busy day sightseeing. - We had a fabulous time in such tranquil surroundings. Although remote still only a ten minute drive to the nearest town. Very comfortable, quaint little cottage. We were totally undisturbed and encouraged to explore the surroundings. The animals, especially the pigs, were very amusing.

    The staff do so much more than just fulfil a function - they genuinely want to make your stay as care-free and as happy as possible. Everyone (receptionists, cleaners and restaurant staff alike) went out of their way to engage us in conversation - to ask us about our plans for the day (and to offer suggestions about local places of interest etc) a... what people say » nd then to have the courtesy, the memory and the interest to follow up later, by asking us how the plans had worked out. It was a real pleasure to exp - It was dog friendly so we had a five star stay with our dog. It was wonderful to have such freedom around the area and to feel so far away from everything. The staff were just brilliant, the small superb menu changed every day, everything tasted so fresh and was cooked to perfection. We can't wait to return.

    It's a remarkable place - everything is done with so much care and great attention to detail. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to think about what makes a holiday enjoyable. One of the best places that we've ever stayed at. I arrived having driven from Warwickshire and not having stopped off for - The Grove at Narberth will be remembered fondly for the friendly and professional staff. The little extras that meant so much such as the surprise on our arrival from the owners and staff. The attention to detail including the presentation of our room through out our stay. And the Breakfast was delicious. The business is a Credit to the owners and staff. Highly recommended.

Our room (burgundy) was beautiful, well designed and very large, and the beds very confortable. Our host was really nice and welcoming, and on our arrival we were offered coffee/tea and welsh cakes. Good breakfast too ! Everything in the place is calling you to relax and is of very high-quality standard. We really would have liked to be able to stay more.

    Penrhiw has had a make-over. It has a feel of being old in keeping with St Davids, yet everything inside has been refurbished to a high standard of comfort and is very modern. We had a view of Carn Lidi which was lovely. We were greeted by Samuel, who showed us around, and cooked a fab breakfast. To sum up it felt like a small, friendly, boutique ... what people say » hotel and we would like to stay again. - Every now and then you find somewhere extra special and Penrhiw is definitely that. Sam the housekeeper made sure everything was perfect and nothing was to much trouble.Everything was luxury from the furnishing, bedding right down to the state of the art coffee machine. We travel extensively but we both agree this was one of the best yet and will definitely be back soon.

    Wonderful welcome, excellent food, Phil and Jen were very friendly, helpful and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. We had an amazing holiday and the B & B was an experience not to be missed. Cleanliness was exceptional, beds luxurious and comfortable, fantastic views, wonderfully quiet. We were greeted on arrival with tea, scones... what people say » and cake. Could'nt find any fault whatsoever. Breakfasts were a feast. And of course the donkeys were a delight. Thoroughly recommend Tyllwyd Hir to - We went to Wales for my bithday and stayed for 4 nights at the Tyllwyd Hir. Everything was just perfect. Phil and Jen are incredible hosts and are extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are finished to a very high standard with lovely touches like fresh fruit, organic tea, bath robes & slippers - I could go on forever. We stayed in the red room with stunning views over the hills. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with local produce and lots of choice. Best B&B I ever stayed in

Stayed in the Kiera Knightly suite which was fab, especially the chance to soak in a large jacuzzi bath, which after a long coastal walk to New quay was a real blessing and the bed was so comfortable i didnt want to get up in the morning.
