The hotel is well situated next to Nottingham Castle. - The location was ideal only a short walk to the city center and the parking was great and very cheap £5,50 for 24hours

  The Swimming pool was nice, the staff was extremely friendly and any inconveniences were met with generous offers and gifts to apologize. The breakfast was amazing and not extremely expensive. (we were forced to move room and got some nice sweets and nuts and a bottle of nice wine in return).   I like this hotel, it has character, nooks and crannies and its a nice place to be. The food was great and there was loads of it. I was surprised the restaurant wasn't busier than it actually was. How often do you see quality food and quality portions.
