Hotels near Birmingham Airport

i did like the gables even if it was a bit dated. my room was nice and spacious, my colleagues one was a bit smaller though it was a easy walk to town which is good because i didnt need a taxi. i found the breakfast to be pretty good. a good range of cereals and they cooked the full english up fresh, the mushrooms were fresh unlike some places that use tinned ones. the intercom was a bit strange but it was fine really. the staff were friendly and helpfull. facilities were basic but worked fine. - Kieran

We booked the Ibis last minute when we were going to NEC - couldn't have chosen better! It wasn't till after i'd booked it I checked out the reviews - something i'd never done but as I say, was last minute! After reading reviews I began thinking I'd made a mistake but hey convinced myself it was okay as we're only there for one night! What a pleasant surprise! The hotel is perfectly located for both Birmingham Airport (2 minute walk!) and the NEC (2 min free shuttle). There's no parking but the - Ashley

Stopped at pebble cottage when attending the Good Food Show, NEC. Having never been to Birmingham before was left with the decision of the price chain hotel in town complete with parking and traffic issues or small cheaper nearer the venue but out of town. Glad we went out of town! Pebble cottage is conveniently situation just a mile outside NEC next to marston green train station. Having left the car in the secure parking of the B& B we enjoyed a afternoon and meal in the city without t - David

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and I could not fault it one bit the owners are really friendly and go out of there way to help , The room was clean and had everything that you need . Breakfast had a good choice and lots of coffee the staff were really friendly I would recomend this hotel as an excellent base if travelling to the NEC or for a little break ideal for any occasion - Theresa

A few colleagues and I stayed at the Express Holiday Inn Birmingham NEC for a recent event we attended at the NEC. We have stayed in several hotels in and around the NEC but for convenience, value for money, and excellent service this hotel won hands down. With the shuttle bus to and from the train station and into the NEC complex itself this hotel is an excellent choice.
