  Small and very comfortable family hotel in quiet region of city but close to all interesting places in London. Frendly staff, feeling was like at home.   Absolutely nice connection with center of London, you need only 1 bus toget there. The best value for money payd. Internet in lobby and sometimes in room. - The price, it was extremely good value and although not quite what I was initially expecting, it was good value for the money we paid and in actual fact we only slept there as we were out sight... what people say » seeing all day so it was just somewhere to lie our heads and freshen up.

Perfect location: 20 min walk to Pancras station, 15 min walk to Chinatown-Soho, 20 min walk to Trafalgar square, 25 min walk to Big Ben tower. British Museum, one of the best in the world, is only 5 min away. Personnel very kind: we needed a British electric plug. Instead of buying one, we could use one from the hotel during our 5 day stay.   I had a really lovely stay at Lawrence Road. Maggie was really helpful and friendly and the accommodation was great. My bed was comfy, my room clean and cosy and the kitchen fully equipped.
