The location of the hotel is superb. It is just a minute away from oxford street. The staff were very friendly. Very good value for money. it might be worth upgrading to a suite - Ivan

I stayed at this hotel only for one night with my husband. We had the superior double room. It was spacious and clean. Our room even had an ironing board with an iron in it!!! The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety. But make sure you go before 9 a.m. as you have to wait for a table( there was a long queue) I didn't like the view from our room- just brick walls and the top of the London eye( a tiny bit). I do recommend this hotel. Oh! I forgot. The gym was well equipped-there was e - Brendan

I stayed here for nine nights on first arriving in England and with it being so close to Paddington Station and a number of different small cafes and restaurants it was excellently positioned and well priced for one person. The room was small and the bathroom tiny but given that all I was doing there was sleeping it wasn't a problem. It may have been a bit more squishy with two people, but for one it was fine. The included breakfast was decent and good enough to get me going every morning. The s - Cliff

This hotel has consistently good service. We stayed in a "business friendly" room, which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. It also included the excellent breakfast buffet which we have come to enjoy at the hotel. The standard rooms do not include breakfast, but there are many restaurants and take-out places close by (or you can always pay for breakfast in the dining room). I appreciate the in-room safes which are standard amenities. In all of our visits we have encountered friend - John

I really cannot say anything bad about this hotel, my wife and 1yr old daughter had a great 2 night stay here. We were on the 7th floor so had great views over London, we had a very agreeable breakfast and a lovely dinner in the 'George Pub'. With secure underground parking and a tube station 5 mins walk you really cant go wrong. The only small irriation was in the morning we had to wait for ever for a lift, so plan ahead and one of you go press the button!!! - Julie

This is not a typical Crowne Plaza. It is actually Taj owned under the CP banner so you get an unusual mix. The location is excellent, the lobby is marvellous and the top grade rooms not bad. But the corridors are shabby - the carpets have been replaced but not the wallpaper or paint re-done. Investment has gone into touch entry cards on doors but not into bathrooms. A strange choice of priorities is evident. Always have breakfast in your room. The small restaurant just cannot cope and the q - Michael
