  Everything! Everything was fabulous!! We were met from our taxi by the doorman who asked our surname, which he repeated into his lapel. We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room. We had bookings for Afternoon - Smooth easy quick check in Junior suite, Art Deco Style Fabulous, bathroom huge, walk in shower with rain head huge, Free standing bath plenty of room for two. Afternoon Tea, delicious, was my bithday, they played happy birthday and bought a cake with candle, you can have as much as you want...service amazing.   Very friendly staff. Moreover, we arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check-in time and just wanted to leave our luggage there, but they already gave us a room! And when we asked for something, they reacted very quickly.   We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it was a suite set up, as this made it easy for our young son to go to bed before us.   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch.   Single room to roadside was clean and tidy, enough space, shower and toilet nearby on the aisle, but for privat use only, was clean and ok, breakfast in the Pub downstairs was continental, a little bit simple but sufficent (coffe/tea, toast, ham, cheese, cereals, juice, fruits), staff friendly and polite. Situated good (10min walk from Kilburn Und... what people say » erground Station, 20min Jubilee Line ride to city center), Kilburn is very cosmopolite, so there is plenty opportunity nearby for excellent dining (or - Room was very spacious, and even had a cute old fashioned stove as an 'original feature' I assume. Wi-Fi was excellent. Table and chairs so you can eat in the room and not be on the bed which was nice. Also we had a sink, fridge, and stove etc in our room. Would've come in handy on a longer stay. Overall it proved a good option for us, as we have been to London several times before, maybe not the best for a first time visitor.

The bedroom was not only huge but also very plush indeed and the en-suite was outstanding - you could literally see your reflection in the floor. The price was excellent too especially for a 5 star in - The gym, pool, sauna & steam room are all good & included in rate we got. The staff were helpful & took time to help explain there was engineering works on the district line & to use the Metropolitan line from Aldgate to get to my destination Sunday morning. Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from Tower Bridge.
