As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing.   The front desk managed to get us rooms when we checked in at 10am after arriving straight from the airport. Another plus point was the close proximity to both Bank and Monument tube stations as well as Liverpool Street Station. There's a nearby Sainsbury and Tesco Metro stores for added convenience. It is true that the City was dead in the weekends... what people say » but we didn't mind. - Club Quarters chain is extremely consistant in quality. Values forweekend deals are terrific. The Superior rooms are superior in size andcomfort. In-room coffee/tea is wonderful-free coffee in lobby evenbetter. Decent, but not great, location for tourists - terrific forbusiness people - easy walk from Monument and Bank metro stops.

  The staff were fantastic. Very helpful with directions and giving us extra toilet paper and washing powder when we ran out. I also asked for a drying rack for washing as I don't like to use the tumble dryer and when we got back to the apartment it was all set up. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished,but a bit small and you couldn't open the wind... what people say » ows at night when sleeping due to the city noise. The kitchen facilities were ample with a nice large fridge. The apartments are within zone 1 in Aldg - These apartments are modern, spotless and spacious, with all the fittings and facilities you need for a perfect stay. For the money I don't think you could do better. I stayed here nearly 3 years ago and was thrilled; I was not disappointed this time as things are still outstandingly clean and fresh, spacious and comfortable. Having a washer/dryer is fantastic when you are away for a while too! Also convenient for the tube and in zone 1. I highly recommend these apartments; I cannot fault them

  We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June & July 2013. The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.
