We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in. Would definately stay here again.Staff were friendly & helpfull. Easy walk to the castle & city centre.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to shopping area, surrounded by different places to eat, quite close to the castle and old town. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, included possibility to make coffee and tea, there was even a bottle opener attached to the table :) The bed was big and comfortable, bathroom large and clean, the breakfast was simple, but well worth its price. The location is fantastic, just 100 meters from Haymarket station and also easily accesible from the airport. Besides, the main attractions are also located within walking distance. No sweat!

The attention of the staff to make sure you were settled in.
The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm.
I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use.
They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh.

The room was spectacular! Great services within the room, eg. Ironing board, hairdryer, bath, flat screen tv. Plus 24 hour reception and friendly staff! Great location only a 10/15 min walk to the city centre and Edinburgh station, while haymarket station is 5 mins away! Great bars, restaurants and cafes a few mins away! the staff were very helpful. they gave us a very big room and it was on the first floor which was very helpful considering i'm pregnant and had two young children with me.there is a bar in the hotel which allowes children in it so if you fancy a drink you can relax with your children. The price was nice and the sleep was good: these are main criteria for a good stay. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!
