  The hotel staff was really friendly and very helpful. The room - although small - was well furnished and quiet. - The staff were amazing my husband was ill and they were so helpful in making sure our needs were met.

  We searched long and hard online to find a good, affordable hotel in central London. This one is it (along with the Nadler, a few streets east). Our room was much larger than expected and very modern.   Hotel has a nice location right on Clapham Common. Whilst not right in the centre of London it is only 4/5 subway stops from Victoria and much better value than most of the hotels that are in the centre. The pub was very full and busy when we returned in the evening but our room was lovely and quiet even though it was on the same floor.Excelle - This is a wonderful haven from the busy city. It's in an excellent accessible location, about 10 mins walk from either Clapham Common or Clapham South. The beautiful Victorian building is well looked after and has a quirky yet clean feel to it. A cosy and warm atmosphere with open fires in the winter. Helpful and welcoming staff, very professional. Glass-roofed conservatory breakfast area, and excellent food. Bed was very comfy, got a good night's sleep. Very quiet! Free WiFi.

  Admiral is a family run hotel and you get treated like one. The location is wonderful, the staff go out of their way to help, the rooms and public areas are clean and looked after, the breakfast room/bar was beautiful. I was extremely happy with everything and everyone and had a super stay at the Admiral hotel. I would and have been recommending it... what people say » . - warm welcome. Best thing that really got me was there willingness. Although I had a couple of hicups, the staff did a good job to revive a bad stay. Thanks. Had nice big plasma in the room. Filling breakfast. All in all, good.

  From Paddington the hotel was extremely easy to find. The Staff were very polite and helpful. The location was great for the purpose of the trip which was to see the sights of London. - Clean comfortable room, friendly staff, excellent price. Perfect location for our theatre weekend.

  The staff were very welcoming & the room was clean & very comfortable. I really liked the fact that there were proper ceramic cups to have tea or coffee with in the rooms, as so many hotels only provide paper ones & importantly for me, there were 8 little milk cartons, as opposed to the usual 1 per person. The biscuits to have, with yo... what people say » ur beverage, was a lovely touch, also. The breakfast was lovely & was served very quickly, which really suited me,as I had to get a train. The sta - We liked that we could have a family room with five beds which saved us having to book 2 rooms in other hotels. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We also liked that they looked after our luggage when we checked out so we could enjoy another day in London without having to take our suitcases with us. Overall excellent value for money, ideally situated for Paddington station, around the corner there is a tour bus stop,

  The location was excellent. Easily accessible by public transport on the bus and tube lines. The room I got was able to accommodate 8 persons. Breakfast was simple of bread and croissants. - Location Being able to relax with thanks to private bathroom, TV and comfortable bed.
