    Staff were excellent & helpful.young lady on the Tuesday evening with v short blonde hair asset to the hotel along with the breakfast lady who was there everyday (middle age long hair) was so lovely. Rooms were spotless, we stayed in 519 with 2a/1c and had lots of room. Ate dinner n hotel twice ad canno fault the food- v varied menu. Woud stay... what people say » again and defiantly recommend. We were 2 minutes from the lanes and only a five minute stroll from the sea front & 10 from the pier at the most . - We liked the size of the family rooms. We split the 5 members of the family girls in one room and boys in the other. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, we never qued or had to ask for something to be replaced. The staff were efficient and very polite. Our family really really enjoyed our stay and will be using the Hotel again when we next visit.

    It was great to have the fresh flowers in my room the next day, a lovely thought. The breakfast in bed was great. I loved the room, really quaint. Really well situated couldn't have asked for a closer place to the sea and the shops. even time to pop back with goodies then off to beach later to watch the free outdoor cinema, then back to one of the... what people say » many restaurants only 5mins walk away. Perfect location, and parking too. - Maja is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for her. We checked in a bit early and it wasn't a problem, breakfast in bed was delicious and we slept well. Little sweets on the pillows was a nice touch! It's in a great location, only a short walk from all the shops and the Lanes, but it was quiet enough to be able to sleep, too! Perfect!

    It was different and really boutique like and I loved all the art and the cleanlines of the hotel. I also loved the accessibility of the hotel ie close to Brighton centre and the great sea view.     The location is fantastic! The Brighton Pier is less than 100 metres away. You have all the local amenities around the corner, restaurants at the back road and take aways was easy delivery as well. Given the non perfect flat but it is clean and tidy.     Stayed at the Umi Brighton for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast which was included in the excellent rate.     We asked for a sea view and got exactly that. Could not have asked for better. Could lay in bed and hear the sea at night. Perfect! Breakfast was good too and on until 11am so we could have a nice sleep in!! Room also came with its own friendly Seagull which came to say hello from time to time.     Our aim was reasonably priced B&B and central to the waterfront area. We could not have been more pleased on those 2 counts. Lee, owner was delightful. The room was cramped but it was not a surprise given the cost of the accommodation. Decor was fun. 2 minutes walk takes you to a bus stop from which you can go out to the countryside along the coast.

    Helen and William were absolutely fabulous hosts, and it was an utter pleasure to stay at their guest house! The room was clean, well presented, comfortable and had all the little extras we often take for granted (tea, coffee, and chocolates to go with)!     The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her .
