    Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs... what people say » treets with steep roads, the hotel is easily reached by bigger and less scary ones! - V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

The bedrooms were spacious, extremely comfortable with all the touches you'd - The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless. The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

    The hotel was full of character and well thought out. The staff were unbelievably helpful and nothing was too much trouble... they even dried our swimmers for us on our last day!     Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable.     I stayed for 1 night whilst attending a wedding in Bath and had a very pleasant stay. I had been in correspondence with the owner prior to arrival as I knew I would be in Bath for around midday so requested an early check in- he was very accommodating throughout and when I arrived my room was ready. The house and my room were both lovely, nice dec... what people say » oration, spacious and with everything you would need. The next morning I came down for breakfast at 9:50 as I hadn't been told that it was served at 9 - Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome (and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed) The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have dinner.

    We stayed in the Superior Double Room. It was quiet, well-quipped, with a desk big enough for us to use our laptop comfortably. There was a variety of fresh cut fruit at breakfast, to our delight, and the portions of the cooked breakfast were generous.     The Kennard is absolutely exceptional!! It was by far the best place we stayed in during a 10 days trip to London and South-England. The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere.     The location was fantastic, just a few minutes from the centre of the city by foot. Janet, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and really cozy as well.
