    Better than I expected it to be. Clean and neat, very well maintained for a hostel. Beds were quite comfortable. Shower room is very clean. The eco-friendly shower facility is rather interesting although a tad troublesome. Very reasonable charge for luggage storage after checkout (only £1.50 for a small group). But there are also lockers for indiv... what people say » iduals. - I booked the double room and it was great. Young vibe, linen and towels, makeup area. Even a teamaker and coffee/tea. The inn is part of a bar - very nice to sit in for a dring or a meal. The stuff is very friendly and the location is right in the center. Basically I loved everything besided the shower facilities.

    Lovely Victorian building. Good position. Quiet although still on a bus/main route into Bath. Easy walking distance, 20 mins into city centre. Off road parking. Friendly, helpful staff, serving breakfast early to suit our needs. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. Twin bedded room was comfortable and just what we asked for and had plenty... what people say » of mirrors! It was cold for June but the heating was on to take the chill off. - Staff were very friendly & welcoming and gave us lots of useful local information about attractions, restaurants etc. Also as hotel guests,we were entitled to discounts at various restaurants, bars & cafes. The breakfast provided was very good and plentiful. The hotel is located very close to the city centre (10 min walk approx)and has the benefit of free parking on site.

    I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the building was interesting, food was delicious and freshly cooked and reasonable prices staff were really friendly and helpf... what people say » ul. I met lots of interesting people travelling through from many different countries. I felt relaxed there even though I was on my own. If I needed - I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Food can be kept in the fridges in the self catering kitchen and all cooking facilities from microwaves to gas cookers and ovens. Like with any hostel, take padlocks a
