The Kennard is absolutely exceptional!! It was by far the best place we stayed in during a 10 days trip to London and South-England. The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere. The service-orientation is outstanding and topped by the excellent breakfast choices complemented by individually prepared dishes for each customer. Breakfast was delicious plenty of choice. Wonderful choice of teas & filter coffees accompanied breakfast each morning. As well as a choice of three different fresh fruit juices. The staff were always on hand to assist with advice about where to go & what to do. Overall I would highly recommend staying at the Kennard & I look forwar. The owners are very friendly. We received a free upgrade, which always makes you feel extra welcome. The room we had was spacious and beautifully appointed. The location of the Kennard is ideal. Just out of the busy centre in a lovely historic street, but only a few minutes walk to the city. The breakfasts were very good. The owner provides the guests with free parking permits. We had a great stay and were surprised that the City of Bath offers 2 hour free guided walking tours. The Kennard is the best accommodation that I have been in my Life. The Owners Giovanni and Mary are two fabulous people that made wonderful our stay in Bath. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, elegant and luxuriously decorated, the Breakfast is made with fresh and first quality ingredients. The Kennard is a very friendly hotel. We liked the service of having new bottles of water every day in our room. And we liked the varities of tea and coffee. Staff were a little distant but very professional so not really much a complaint. The room was a bit hot (but it was summer). The eight flights of stairs to the fourth floor bedroom. Not a thing!. Only wished we could have stayed longer!. nothing. No complains. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get to some of the rooms but it is worth it. The room we had was quiet small with very unlogical washing/bathing facilities. Temperature in the room was very high, but who would expect more than 30 degrees in the UK ;-). Wi-fi doesn't seem to operate on top floor. no dislikes.
