Harrogate Hotels

As with other reviews I was very impressed with the extras - robes, slippers, soft toy, chocolates, truffles, quality toiletries, wine. Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb however I thought dinner was good but average. It tried to be a lot more fancy than the fare really was. There is nothing wrong with gastropub type food. Service from the staff was exemplary. They were professional but extremely friendly. Also a round of applause to the HR of the Kimb - Nancy

Me and my boyfriend stayed at The Crown for one night in October. Having never been to Harrogate it was in the perfect location as it was in the middle of the centre within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were helpful with everything we needed and the room was very spacious and clean. The only issue I had with the room was the size of the tv - it was so small in comparison to the rest of the room! The major issue we had with the hotel was the parking facil - Phil

We stayed at the Cairn hotel this weekend as we going to a family wedding. I booked 2 club rooms, 2 doubles and a twin for myself and my family. The club rooms cost £170 for 2 night bed and breakfast, the doubles and twin £130 for the 2 nights B&B. To be honest, as it was so cheap we were expecting it to be a bit shabby but we were only needing it as a base so as long as it was clean we weren't bothered. We shouldn't have worried. This hotel was great for the price, we paid £70 for dinner, bed and breakfast, booked via swallow hotels website. Had room at back of hotel on 2nd floor, was quiet, reasonable size and clean, large bathroom, although not really modern, as expected. The entrance lobby is nice, and food in restaurant was very good. Had to pay small supplement on some dishes (less than £5) for example on guinea fowl. Breakfast good too, help yourself service. The biggest bonuses of this hotel however have to be - Pawel

We stayed at 67 Kings Road in a 1 bed ground/lower ground floor apartment. The self check in was smooth with instructions simple to follow. The parking was off road and excellent. The apartment itself; bathroom had quality fittings and was immaculate. The bedroom was comfortable but on the small side. The upstairs room was well furnished with modern fittings and lcd tv. The kitchen area wanted for nothing, all you would need is fresh milk and coffee from the shop 50 yards away. At £85 we could n - John

Stayed in Imperial Mansions Apt 4 for one night in August with relatives. Very spacious and modern. Some nice touches including……all the cornerstones of tea ,coffee, bread , butter ,jam etc which was more than a good start for breakfast the following day. Excellent location a couple of doors down from my favourite Harrogate Pub , The Bell Tavern. A much better alternative to a hotel if you’re sharing the expense with another couple. Parking just around the corner …permit provided. Spot on ! - Victoria

Stayed here for 2 nights at a conference. You can almost touch the conference centre from the Alvera Court, which was ideal. Unlike some B and Bs, there was parking (no extra charge) and you got your own key, so we could nip back and freshen up as and when we had a gap in our schedule. We got a friendly welcome, I got to see quite a few of the rooms as there was a group of us staying there and they all seemed clean and well-presented. Very nice place and excellent value for money. The communal areas look quite traditional 'guest house' however the bedroom was a lovely surprise. Very chic and immaculately clean. The toffees on the tea tray and decent sized toiletries are a lovely touch. - Alan

Stayed here as I booked late and it was the only hotle with rooms free for 5 nights , glad I did ! Nice clean rooms ,comfortable and tidy . The added bonus of breakfast in the price was good , and this was well cooked and served with a full English breakfast available plus juices cereals coffee or tea . The staff were lovely anf friendly . The location was excellent with the BritishMuseum litterally opposite and Oxford street less than 10 mins walk away , plus you are4 close to 2 tube stations . - James
