The Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is very close to the city center with lots of bars and restaurants on the way in. ... what people say » tay here again when I return. Excellent. - Everything was spotless. Very carefully chosen quietly elegant decor. Expensive modern bathroom fittings and loads of hot water.. Surprising since the hotel was very cheap!! Excellent room heating controls on a very cold day..no problems. Proprietor friendly and very helpful re parking (a 15 minute walk away).

Excellent facilities in large traditional Edinburgh house, central
situation with easy access to town centre and attractions. Very
reasonably priced for facilities and the fact that it was a Rugby
Weekend which usually incurs doubling the price by many other Hotels and
Guest Houses. Whilst the guest house doesn't do breakfasts there are
good facilities nearbye, although for this particular weekend the host
cooked all guests who were visiting for the rugby a great breakfast on
both mornings in h
