reception open 24/7 gave me complete flexibility in my arrival/departure times. Lucien on reception was very helpful and friendly. the room and its en suite shower and toilet were spotless. the bed was comfortable the room was a nice warm temperature. - friendly staffs,warmly bedroom and my friends and i all love this city~people are all very nice

Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Anthony stayed june 13 -

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

Very suprised and impressed with this hotel, well presented and staff were polite and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet at the back of the building. Masson House Hotel, located at the University is a very comfortable, value for money Hotel close to the City and serviced by Taxi's (Cab Rank on Site, and very close to the Bus service to the City Centre.
We loved our stay and will definitely pass on to our friends that this is the best place to stay in Edinburgh.
The community Restaurant serves quality value for money food and Drink Prices from the Bar are the best available around town.
