Also the location is good (readily accessible from Dover, good for visiting Canterbury centre and Kent). A hotel to recommend to family and friends. - The room ... what people say » was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent (we had both dinner and breakfast there) we also used the pool and jacuzzi, which were great! We liked being close enough to be able to walk into Canterbury. We - The swimming pool was great in the hot weather - it's not large but you can have a good swim all the same. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room (I was in a twin)was nicely designed and roomy enough. Robes were provided which was great for using the swimming pool. The gardens were nice too.
