We had a really nice stay. The hotel was traditional in a nice way, excellent breakfasts, a very pleasant restaurant with good food, a comfortable room, and friendly, professional staff. Also the location is good (readily accessible from Dover, good for visiting Canterbury centre and Kent). A hotel to recommend to family and friends. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent (we had both dinner and breakfast there) we also used the pool and jacuzzi, which were great! Finally, the staff were professional and friendly - almost a perfect stay!.

Nohing was too much trouble.i thought the staff were friendly and helpful the room was clean and comfortable , breakfast was excellent. The friendliness of the staff and management and helpful with any questions we had relating to Cantbury. They were all very pleasant the Hotel was clean and tidy and we really feld at home. No lift and stairs presented a bigger problem than we had anticipated.We had been informed prior to our stay and so we recognise the responsibility was ours. We didn't have a car, and it was too far from central town to walk comfortably. That we were unable to have evening meal on sunday as the resturant was closed. choice for evening meals could be more varied. Changing room for swimming pool is rather small.Minor point - the shower head was not all that secure.

Jean-Pierre, the French chef, has devised both a 2-course and a 3-course menu with many interesting and varied dishes. All produce is sourced locally, and dishes are freshly prepared.

The pool includes a hot tub and is open from 08:00 to 21:00 daily, and is free to all residents of the hotel. Swimming towels are supplied by the hotel and are available at reception. From Dover:
- Take the A2 towards London.
- Exit at Canterbury onto the A2050 leading directly onto New Dover Road.
- At the roundabout take the second exit marked City Centre.
- Ebury Hotel is situated on the right-hand side after one mile.

From London:
- Take the A2 towards Dover.
- Turn off at Canterbury, following signs to Dover.
- Continue through 4 roundabouts, turning right at the St. George roundabout signposted Dover A2.
- Go straight over the traffic lights leading to New Dover Road.

From Margate:
- Take the A28 towards Canterbury approaching City Centre along city walls to the St. George roundabout.
