  Girl on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A really good first impression. The room was simple but stylish. - Proximity to the centre, ease of access and parking facilities. Very nice setting and out of the ordinary in a good way.

  It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State. The staff, Sarah and Sarah, are so friendly and enthusiastic, the rooms are gorgeous (I had a deluxe room; enormous and beautiful room, with large bathroom - even nicer than the pictures, which is quite some... what people say » thing!), overlooking beautiful lawns and part of the Canterbury countryside that is so picturesque. Breakfast is extremely good; and the layout of the - This large B&B has several choices of accommodation, and we stayed in the cottage at the top of the yard set apart from the other buildings, which was very romantic. It had the most comfortable bed you can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh and local and of excellent quality.

  I thought the hotel's location on a roundabout may be a problem but in reality it was never an issue. Our room had secondary glazing and was very quiet at night. The hotel was friendly and I was very happy with our choice of location. They had their own parking but there were plenty of public car parks close at hand as well, although we never need... what people say » ed them. The rear of the hotel had a garden area separated from the road by a tall wall and was visually very impressive- it looked as old as the cast - The service in this hotel was the best we have ever experienced, and we travel alot! All members of staff were professional and helpful - attentive to our every need, even anticipating the needs of our group. The hotel was delightful, full of character and the location just 5 minutes walk from the town center was ideal. The breakfast was generously proportioned and there was ample choice.

  Really liked the very cosy comfortable rooms. Loved the bath & beautiful comfortable bed. Loved the fact that we could come and go with our own pin code without disturbance. Beautiful historical town, lots to see and d - The location was fantastic, just opposite the Marlowe theatre and around the corner from the High street. Although it is right in the heart of Canterbury, it was very quiet in the room. The decor is very stylish and the bed very big and comfy. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent. A lovely extra touch was the afternoon tea left for us in case we got peckish.
