Girl on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A really good first impression. The room was simple but stylish. - Proximity to the centre, ease of access and parking facilities. Very nice setting and out of the ordinary in a good way.

in the cottage at the top of the yard set apart from the other
buildings, which was very romantic. It had the most comfortable bed you
can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast

I thought the hotel's location on a roundabout may be a problem but in reality it was never an issue. Our room had secondary glazing and was very quiet at night. The hotel was friendly and I was very happy with our choice of location. They had their own parking but there were plenty of public car parks close at hand as well, although we never need

The service in this hotel was the best we have ever experienced, and we travel alot! All members of staff were professional and helpful - attentive to our every need, even anticipating the needs of our group. The hotel was delightful, full of character and the location just 5 minutes walk from the town center was ideal. The breakfast was generously proportioned and there was ample choice.

Really liked the very cosy comfortable rooms. Loved the bath &
beautiful comfortable bed. Loved the fact that we could come and go with
our own pin code without disturbance. Loved how close it was to the

The location was fantastic, just opposite the Marlowe theatre and around the corner from the High street. Although it is right in the heart of Canterbury, it was very quiet in the room. The decor is very stylish and the bed very big and comfy. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent. A lovely extra touch was the afternoon tea left for us in case we got peckish.
