Girl on reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A really good first impression. The room was simple but stylish. - Proximity to the centre, ease of access and parking facilities. Very nice setting and out of the ordinary in a good way.

Very modern accomodation and freindly staff. The reception gave me good advice on what to visit. The beds each have their individual light and plug so it's perfect not to disturb each other in the dorm. The sheets are on when you come in and you just have to undo the bed which is convenient. Lockers for bags and nice self cateing kitchen available

The Abode Canterbury is excellent for disabled access, the rooms are beautifully decorated with luxurious fittings and it has an air of calm. The staff are exceptionally helpful and cheerful. - The atmosphere of the the town and hotel was very nice. We all had arelaxing time during our stay at the Abode Canterbury.

In the first room provided there was a problem with the heated towel room which made it uncomfortably hot in the room , but on request the staff were very helpful in relocating us to another room , which we declined as it was a twin . That resulted in us being upgraded to one of the four posted rooms , which was superb. - A beautiful character prop

My partner and I were upgraded and had a wonderful stay in a room with a goregous four poster bed, the bathroom had a lovely jacuzzi bath. The hotel staff were clearly busy but extremely friendly, curteous and welcoming. The hotel restaurant served excellent food and was enjoyed by hotel guests and many locals! The hotel grounds were beautiful.

I thought we were very quickly and politely checked in. The cleaning staff of our room were particularly helpful, when we asked for a fan for our rooms. She went off and got them straight away. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was good to be able to sit and have a meal after a long journey. A more comfortable lounge area would have been nice, ie sofa's for us to sit together and relax as a family.
