i booked my wife and daughter in hotel they where having dinner there,daughter is in wheel chair,and she found room very good, they thank all staff four a very nice night and lovely food thanks john. - The staff were very friendly and hospitable. On our arrival (after 3pm) they arranged for sandwiches to be made and brought to our rooms.

The hotel was ideally located for visiting our family and friends for a big birthday party. The room was ideal in size comfort and facilities for our weekend needs. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I only say the facilities are "good" rather than "excellent" because it is an old-fashioned B&B, with unmatched furniture and no pretensions. For us that was a positive, but others might be disappointed, since comfort is ahead of decor here.

It was within easy-access of the M1, but was set within a quiet village. It was comfortable and clean and the owners were friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast. The owners recommended the pub next door to eat, where the food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. -

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful, smiley!!! and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel although situated on a roundabout, you wouldn't have known it, was in a perfect location for seeing all the beautiful places around the area. Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Snake Pass all just a few minutes drive away. Beds were amazing probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Restaurant was brilliant, food really good, and again the staff were fabulous.
