i booked my wife and daughter in hotel they where having dinner there,daughter is in wheel chair,and she found room very good, they thank all staff four a very nice night and lovely food thanks john. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. On our arrival (after 3pm) they arranged for sandwiches to be made and brought to our rooms.Friendly efficient staff, room excellent, bed comfortable.

I think the room was good value for money but this shouldn't be described as an executive room. meals in the restaurant were good ,and the restaurant staff were very good. clean and tidy room , did not eat but restaurant prices seemed fair. no very nice thanks.The extractor fan in the bathroom took a little longer to turn off thanI would have liked. getting out of the car to exit the car-park due to key pad being so far away from drivers door in fact nearer to passenger door.I was not there long enough to form any opinions about dislikes. no fridge which was annoying,old school key instead of a card,no please do not disturb sign which was very annoying because the cleaner was banging on the door at 9am!!. no decaff coffee in room having to go outside to dining room. Thought the continental breakfast was over priced, but the full breakfast was good value. Unfortunately, I have a back problem and, for me, the bed was too hard. The room was also a little cool even with the heating on. Since we were only staying one night, I did not consider either point worth mentioning at the time. Room was very cold, and not very well lit. Room sound insulation very poor. Not too much of a problem as this time of year the hotel was relatively quiet.Could be a problem at busy times, as you could even hear when people were splashing their bath water! Although the room was quite basic, it was good value for money. Not including breakfast in the price meant that we didn't use this facility,and we usually ate later, Hotel lost trade?. Unable to connect to the internet. Road noise, other guest noise but hopefully this wouldn't always be a problem. Rooms very basic.the only problem we had ,were the cleaners coming in at 9am ,when we didnt have to be out till 11am ,we were just getting dressed when they let themselves in ,without even knocking on the door even though the curtains were closed. pillows were very flat , t.v. was nearly on the ceiling and there was a party on and it was very noisy with taxis running engines after midnight.The room was very 'tired', and not very clean around the edges. Therewere coffee/tea stains down the wall. We arrived on a Sunday afternoonabout 5pm. The notices all stated hot food until 7pm. We were told thatthere were sandwiches only. It was only after we pressed the pointrather strongly that they found us 2 hot meals which we did enjoy, butwhy did we have to demand???. Noisy, room not particularly clean, door handle broken. The hotel was cold, had no suitable heating. They stopped serving food at 7p.m.
