    The rooms are very modern and kept very clean, the hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and polite, the overall experience was great. would definately stay at The Holiday Inn Norwich City again and would reccomend. - Friendly staff, excellent food, cleanliness of room.     The staff were excellent especially the Manager who went out of his way to ensure a meal for us when arriving late on Friday night.     Rob the owner was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Clean room in a great quiet location for UEA. You can walk there in 25 minutes and 5 minutes by car. Plenty of free parking. - Friendly owners, well organised, clean, great breakfast, close to the university.

    Mark & Jacqui (managers) are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your holiday - nothing is too much trouble for them. Wi-Fi access is very good - the brochure states it is available in public rooms but we could access it in the bedrooms which were well appointed. We felt right at home and the view was as promised of the sea ! a great treat for us land locked folk. Breakfast was splendid both days, I recommend the full english (with proper bacon) however Mark also makes the tastiest scrambled eggs and smoked salmon my sister has ever had !     I think you would have to be very critical not to enjoy your stay here. We could not fault it. Staff where very obliging the rooms clean and tidy and of a very good standard plus you can use the health club all in. Breakfast buffet style and that was great too. Its a 5min cab ride into Kings Lynn thats all and a lovely complex in a quiet location. ... what people say » Very much recommended. - The hotel and staff were superb and the room and bed were brilliant after a v.long drive. Would definitely stay there again for business or pleasure.

    We were upgraded to a Deluxe room......it was a superb room; ground floor with french windows leading to small patio area. The room was beatifully furnished, well equipped and exceptionally clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The outlook from the hotel was lovely......and we enjoyed a swim, steam room before breakfast... what people say » . The breakfast dining area was bright and sunny.... - A lovely environment around the hotel. I wished that I had my golf clubs with me.Very good service from all staff. We had a nice meal, reasonably priced, in the restaurant, [La Fontaine]. We were upgraded to a suite, perhaps because I had asked for a large bed. The bars were very charming, looking out onto a beautiful garden with impossibly green grass.

    My Husband & I stayed at Ashdene house for two nights over spring bank holiday. The proprietors Annette & Gill are so friendly & very welcoming we had tea & cake on arrival nothing was to much trouble for them. tBreakfast was lovely everything you wanted home made bread & jams & full English.everywhere was spotlessly clean... what people say » our room number 2 was moden and nice with tea & coffee & t.v. Just a short distance away is sandringham and many more lovely places. - Gill and Annette made you feel at home as soon as you met them, we were welcomed with a cuppa on arrival, nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra 2 nights. The breakfast set you up for the day and the home made bread was lovely. We highly recommend Ashdene House and we will be back if we are in this area again.

    we went to watch villa v Norwich as we did last year but apart from the football both times we have found the city to be friendly, full of pubs and restaurants and lots of historic things to see and do including the cathedral, lovely walks along the river, good shopping centre but also lots of boutique shops in little backstreet alleyways - we lov... what people say » e it and will always go back. Delias restaurant is a must but only open Friday & sat nights so book in advance. Number 17 is a great place to st - We liked everything about this guesthouse from its location and the no- nonsense welcome and clear instructions of the owner, to the generous room size and comfortable bed. Nearby we found a great place to eat called Last Wine Bar & Restaurant and in the morning back at Number 17 were served perfect Full English and kippers for our breakfasts.

    Warm and friendly atmosphere.Lovely location.Fantastic food.Nothing to much trouble.Cannot fault this Hotel in any way. - Such a peaceful and idyllic place. Food excellent and excellent value. Staff very friendly and helpful.
